Don't know if anyone has been watching this on FX for the last month or two. A superb programme I ended up downloading the whole of series one of just because I couldn't do with just one episode per week.

I thought about watching it, then missed the first episode. I might pick it up and download the whole series. Having said that, I probably won't.

I watched (recorded) it when they showed the first five episodes again on FX, but my DVD recorded stopped after I think episode 4.

What I did see of it was excellent.

Anyone just finish Season 3?

I wasn't impressed at all, very tame ending and the whole season struggled to keep you engrossed compared to the previous seasons. Disappointed. :(

I think it's alright, good acting on Michael Hall's part, couple of Oz actors there, average show I'd say.

I'd say it's pretty good, just watched the season 3 finale last night and the only thing that i didn't like was the fact that Dexter hide himself from the police, why couldn't he be a victim of the Skinner, that he just fund a way to free himself and killed the bastard, in theory miguel was victim of the skinner, so miguel and dexter were friends, so maybe the skinner wanted to kill dexter also, he could've be a hero by killing the skinner and protect himself from any lose evidence against him.

I thought the series was good but the ending was pretty poor and rushed.

With Dexter I always struggle to see how they'll do a new series until they actually do it and I find it works. That said, we already know there will be at least five series.

Become friends? You must be having a laugh. He can't trust Arthur not to hurt his family for a start.

i dunno they said the biggest twist is yet to come!killing him in the end is the predicable thing to happen!
what ever happens anyway it should be an epic finale!

I thought that had to do with Debra finding out about Dexter's mother and her father having an affair. Interesting!

Arthur has another secret child... Rita could be an interesting one.

Gutted I can't watch it until Thursday, planked with a shedload of exams although I'll probably still squeeze it in. The last minutes of last weeks episode were immense.

You could also ask how Dexter found Arthur in the middle of nowhere but that really was a shocking ending. From the way it was going I was thinking the start of next season would be Dexter going "cold turkey" but now I can see him going on a complete rampage.

I honestly haven't been that surprised by a TV show since Omar got shot in The Wire and Teri Bauer in 24.

Dexter arriving out of nowhere to kill Arthur was more than a little ridiculous but the ending was so good we don't even care.

He'll blame himself (as he should) for Rita's death and I assume Cody and Astor won't be in it anymore as they'll live with Paul's parents. That leaves Dexter looking after Harrison without any family to take care of him and whilst trying to protect him and prepare him for the future.

The fifth series could take place a few years later.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who watches this.

Anyone notice how Rita's head was facing the other way when they showed her in the mirror?

Shocking ending; watched it a few times. Some people argue that Dexter hid in the boot, but then how'd he transfer the body etc?

With regards to the timing of Trinity killing Rita, I can only assume he found Dexter's address at Deb's house, or searched the second address he searched for on the net. We didn't see Trinity from the scene at Deb's until he picked up the car, so there was enough time for him to get to Dexter's for the time that Rita was home.

Too damn right it's a long wait for September! I don't think I can wait! :(

I thought I should give this a bump since season 5 aired in the US on Sunday.

I watched 2 episodes a few months ago, then decided to watch the third last week. After the 4th I was hooked and decided to power through the seasons finally finishing late Sunday night in time for season 5.

It's certainly getting even more interesting.
