Here's my PES5 07/08 Option file.

Its based on j708's wonderful OF, (which was based on Watson's V4.0 OF) which includes 30 new teams: Club Brugge, Red Star Belgrade, Partizan, Zurich, Wisla Krakow, Dinamo Zagreb, Basel, Sparta Prague, Artmedia Bratislava, Austria Wien, Brondby, Debrecen, Salzburg and Lokomotiv Moscow who replace most of the Dutch teams. Plus it has all the newly promoted teams for the other leagues.

The big difference with my first take on his first OF was that you didn't need to use kitserver as I've created kits in game for all the new clubs and updated many many more. I've also tried to give the new clubs stadiums close to their real ones.

But now my v2 features even more up to date (in game) transfers for the English, French, German, Italian and Spanish teams, some of the other teams, plus lots of new players.

Its far from perfect, but I hope you enjoy it all the same.

Using PC...
1. Download the option file
2. Put the OF in C:\Documents and Settings\yourname\My Documents\KONAMI\Pro Evolution Soccer 5\save\folder1
3. Make sure it's called KONAMI-WIN32PES5OPT

PS2 MAX FILE:

Using PS2 Max Drive...
1. Download the file
2. Plug the max drive in to the PC
3. Right click on Option File>send to Max Drive,
4. Plug max drive into USB port on PS2
5. Load up Max Drive software for PS2
6. Uncrush to memory card

Although its a PC OF, you should be able to convert it for the Xbox by using Compulsion's PESFan editor 5:

IMPORTANT: If you downloaded my OF last night and it was showing the default lines up, please download again.

I made a small change to the file, but something must of went wrong on the hosting site as it wasn't linking to my file.

There should be commentary, there is on mine.
I wonder if it has to do with the fact I didn't bother installing any of the other languages (Other than English) on my PC version of PES5.

You could try using the pesfan editor 5:

And try converting your old file with the commentary working, to my file.

Like I said in the first post, its far from a perfect OF.
Anyway how hard is it for you to make any missing players yourself. ;)

A bit of advise from someone who has played a ton of pes6 and pes 2008 for ps2 and ps3 . Stick with pes5 and keep editing that file. The game is so much more realistic. Not as much end to end play. Defenders actually on the men they are marking when they receive the pass. Just look at your shots per game totals .I play vs. humans though not cpu. Just use the editor and kick up all players dribble speed +4 , for pes5 that is,and enjoy the best soccer game to date.( pes 3 was also great)

As an old school ISS (SNES & N64) player I kinda like 6's arcade stylings, plus I missed the perfect through ball chips. LOL
And 'cause I don't play games much these days, 6 is good for when you just want to have a couple of games and play some nice football.

I haven't uninstalled 5 though...so who knows I might go back at some point. ;)

Could someone please upload a PSV file so that I can use this on my PS3? I am sick of PES6 & PES2008 so I really want this option file to play PES5 on my PS3! Thanks!

and can u tell me how to ftp this file to xbox been trying to do it for weeks with other files and always get option damaged

You guys are blessings.

It runs perfectly on WE9 (Xbox version) without the need of a maxdrive. I've just copied the files to E:\UDATA through FTP and that's it.

Hi guys,

I downloaded the OF(which bdw is awesome!!!) for my pes 5 (pc version).
I had patch (PES Evolution). When I want to play it, I don't have the same shirts that I can see on the screenshots...

Any idea where that prob comes from ? Any idea where I could find updated shirts for PES 5 ?
