I don't like that form of analysis as it seems unfair, however in this case I agree with the result. Nedy would win the midfield battle for me only just, but I think Mascherano and Gattuso would do a better job of stem the flow of balls to the wide men. Then I also think Nedy's attack would cause more problems for Figo's defence, than the other way round. Trezeguet to bag a couple of goals, yet Figo would get one back.
