Funny how Sweey is so quick to vote in your matches, Original?, but isn't quite as eager to do the same for other matches.

If you have a complaint to make, make it properly. Also go and check my voting history - for example, the matches I voted for in the previous round. I have no interest in going looking for match threads. If they show up in my New Posts list I might visit them. If not, I couldn't care less.
It isn't exactly my fault you got trounced by him is it? Make better purchases in future.

 I don't mind about that. I've even joked about your voting with Original? before.

Thing is he's got the best team by D3 - in my view by quite a distance - and I'd expect others have the same opinion although not necessarily by quite the same margin.
I'm at home in lots of pain so excuse elements of my previous post.

Oh, there's no doubting that. I believe that he can win every game in the league this season, as long as he rotates sensibly.

No problem mate, I know how you Italy football fans can get overly passionate. ;)

Could people perhaps tell me what they think of the formation?

I'm not too fond of it to be honest. Is there anyway you could just call the wide guys outside midfielders? I think if they play as wing backs the two center guys could lack some support. If you want to keep them as wing backs I'd play someone directly in front of your hold midfielders so they have someone to release the ball to.
Edit: Kudos for creativity though. I'm sick of seeing the same formations ever match.
Edit 2: oh yeah, you still win.

I think it is a bit risky only having three at the back but that you get away with it in this particular match. Playing Pasqual and Angulo as the wide men in a five-man midfield is good because either one of them could drop back a bit more often than the other to convert it into a four without surrendering the midfield.
Calzone playing a lone striker allows you the freedom to have the three-man defence as four would be a waste, particularly when Angulo and Pasqual are both being instructed to track back. The only criticism is a lack of central creativity from the midfield where Ambrosini and Diarra are a good partnership for sweeping things up. Aguero and Del Boy would be key and I feel would be able to draw Motta into silly fouls.
Calzone, for your part I don't know if you were forced into playing a lone striker or not but generally think that it is only a good tactic for an opponent to Original if they have an excellent defence and stick destroyers in the midfield along with one pacy midfielder (a Kaka type) and a very pacy striker (someone like Suazo). That way, they could hit on the counter after soaking up pressure from Original?'s highly experienced forwards. Playing Quagliarella or Miccoli alongside Eduardo, if you were able to, would have been better - in my view at least. Don't get me wrong though, they are a nice little strikeforce.

I only had them as wingbacks to indicate that I want them to track back every time Calzone breaks into my half. It would be a tiring exercise, yet both have high workrates so I hope they can cope with the physical strain.
Cheers for the comments though it helps me work on the formation for my next league game. You're right as well mixing things up is sometimes quite nice, so I'm glad I have a rather versatile squad.

Cheers mate, a great in depth analysis though I might note I'm playing more of a four man midfield than a five, I concede your point about midfield creativity however and may allow Aquilani to roam in the next game in place of Ambrosini.

I'd look more into 50! in this match. Is this his first time voting?
Anyway, I choose this formation because O? usually plays 3 man midfield and four man defense. I put my formation up early and maybe O? saw it, but im sure O? still would of torn my team up either way. Lolz

I assume he voted as he was bored late at night, I wouldn't bother looking into any of the votes to be honest, but fill your boots!

No, I didn't adjust my formation because of yours I'm using this game as a bit of a research exercise.

Original? to win, but Calzone doesn't deserve to be behind by so many votes, so I'll vote for him
