Hehe Ive stolen it from Evo-web but I thought its a nice thread!
''What are the best albums of 2003!''

I will kick off, mine favourites albums of 2003 are:

Jaylib - Champion Sound
Bubba Sparxxx - Deliverance
Talib Kweli - Quality

If you know these 3 you would probably agree with me that these 3 are some great albums. Probably the best of 2003. But nice thing about people is that we all have a differnent style! So post your favourites albums of the year 2003!!

Cheers

I think you'd have probably heard some of their songs before just not known it was them. They're pretty good, saw 'em live about a month ago. Kind of Rock(/pop - although stretching it a bit). If you like Thrills, Kings of Leon, those types of bands you'll probably like 'em

Definitely Maybe

This year has been poor as far as albums are concerned (well singles as well really).

The White Stripes album was hyped like mad, but was disapointing in the end.

Youth and Young Manhood by the Kings of Leon was canny, but a bit overrated.

The Thrills album was alright but a bit repetitive.

Although it was again a bit repetitive, my favourite was the Stereophonics album, with the Coral a close second.

Munky I thought the deftones were dead, or was that just a happy dream I had. Mull Historical Society released a good album this year.

Dream Theater - Train of Thought

Typically outstanding musicianship with a pronounced edge to it that isn't afraid to break the mould, and typical fretboard fireworks from the ever-astounding John Petrucci. A work of genius.

I can't remember which albums were released when...

Elaphant by The White Stripes was last year wasn't it? If so then that gets my vote.
