A simple idea, more of a rule, if you like.
When people request players, it would make a lot of sense to always post a picture of the player along with the request. This (a) makes the person requesting seem more helpful, and (b) saves the usual "post a pic and I'll see what I can do" portion of replies.
If you post a picture with your request, I guarantee there will be a much quicker reply, as I, for one, am more likely to stick my PES3 on and do it as I read your request.
I suspect a lot of people are put off by the fact that to make someone a player they'd have to find a picture, then fuss about with the details in PES3.
Remember who's doing who the favour after all. I don't know if it's just me, but someone who tries to make life easier for the potential creator of the player gets a lot more time from me than the person who just says "Someone make this person for me, now."
Just a thought. ;)
great, just what i was thinking.
its only fair really if we do the appearance or whatever for them.
it shouldnt be a rule incase somebody for whatever reason cant get a pic, but it would be nice :)
by the way mate, i added u to my msn but it aint sed nufink about u accepting or anything, and ure not online.

And I noticed that you were always asking for pictures, and considering you're the moderator of the forum, it made sense to suggest it here.

mmmm...not sure about that idea.
alot of ppl may not be able to get a pic or may not know how to submit one, which means they can't request there players, all i would say is that if u can post a pic, that would be helpful but if u can't don't worry about it.

yeah but its more trouble for the users on the forum, if they had a pic then why woudn't they be able to make it themselves?
as i said, pics would help but no vital ;)
well not neccesarily, some people arent blessed with the skill of creating players on pes3, althought it is quite easy.
and if the person making the apperance can take time to do it and post it, its only fair that the requestor finds a pic!!

Exactly. So therefore, they are asking someone else to do them a favour by making the player for them.

And this is exactly what I was getting at. Considering I'm taking time out to do someone else a favour, of my own free good will, it makes me feel that little bit more appreciated if the someone else has gone to an effort to make my life a little easier, by providing a picture, or a link to some information, or a description, or anything.
I'm sure the majority of posters can search the internet for a picture of a certain player and then post a link to that website on here in one of their messages.
If not, then all they need to do is ask.
Maybe I shouldn't have used the word rule. I was kind of hoping that a mod might create a sticky at the top of the PCC or Player Requests part of the forum which tells those who are requesting to be grateful and show their gratitude by making life easier for us, the creative genius, who is doing them, the requestee, a favour.
