i saw this mentioned in a thread below, and i was wondering if anyone has ever scoered with the goalkeeper on that rare occasion when he comes up for corners, in the last dying minutes when you are trailing....or tied.

Whenever the keeper has come up for me, he runs back as soon as the corner is taken. Bit pointless really.

this is in regards to PES6. I am yet to play PES08 and i dont know if it happens in 08.

and ye phatmann this always happens, but i am interested to find out if anyone has even got the keeper to even touch it. seeing as there is the option to bring defenders up for corners in 08, it would be brilliant if you could do this with the keeper.

imagine your GK scoring in stoppage time to win the game....e.g palop for sevilla in the UEFA cup last seson.

I seem to remember a while ago getting the keeper to touch it but that was by passing it at the corner then running back towards my own goal and aiming the pass at the keeper who was about 35-40 yards from goal. No chance of scoring though from there.

The keeper hasn't come up for corners once in PES6, but has a couple of times in PES5.

Phatman is right, when it's your keeper, he runs back as soon as you take the corner. Not the case with the AI keeper, sometimes. Anyway, I've seen this happen several times, and on one occasion the keeper scored against me. I don't remember exactly who it was, and I was so shocked I didn't rec it.

Your 'keeper doesn't run back if the ball is going to him, but the only time I got the ball to my 'keeper from a corner he ducked under it!

Yeah once for me with Casillas on the demo with Spain, shit header but it still found its way in.

If you don't pick the keeper out from the original cross he doesn't hang around and will go sprinting back. But yeah, it is possible cos I managed it, but like I say, if you want your keeper to score, you need to pick him out from the corner.
