Had a call from my mate at GAME and it's official - they are releasing the PES 2008 for PS2 today (and i have my copy already)....I suggest if you have a local GAME store near you then check it out!! Gotta say from my first impression the game hasnt changed that much compared to PES 2007....

Fraid not....he told me that the PS3 version will be released on Friday!! I guess thats your punishment for have a next generation console!!

gotta say, there are a few changes in the actual gameplay itself...plays alot faster, ball dynamics are better than ever, definately plays a more realistic game of football compared to FIFA 2008 but whats disappointing is the graphics are almost unchanged! Also you get to see the players get changed after the showers in a small cut scene!! Nice!

Think I agree with you there Kev, I remember playing this game called Shenmue...probably the greatest game i've ever played, it was immense.

Brilliant games, so deep and just ahead of their time without a doubt.

Such a shame the console has been almost forgotten, graphic wise it was better than anything before 360/PS3.
