Would it be possible to connect you Xbox up to you PC and import images to your kits that way, without having to have a Vis Cam?

Exactly as you would connect to Xbox Live, only you put the ethernet cable directly into the PC, i think, i havn't actually done it yet.

When i check my connection it says IP Address failed, however when i connect it throught the XBOX Live way it passes that but gets stuck at PC Selection, please god someone help me!
Hi
Check the firewall setting on the OS, and also check its set to allow in Windows Media Player (make sure you use WMP11).
There is no other reason it shouldnt detect the 360, unless there is a network config issue. Both devices set to DHCP?

I have checked all my firewalls, i think, how did you do it? also i am using WMP 11, what do you mean by network config issue, and what the hell is DHCP, any help would be greatly appreciated.
However while doing it that way my xbox was connected to my modem, the XBL way, so i plugged it into the back of my PC, only now it wont even pas the IP Address check, seriously, i'm going to pull my hair out soon!
& how do i get to this stage

the bit under: At Your Media Center PC: Xbox 360 Setup
Hi
I am not sure plugging the Xbox into the back of the PC is going to work, I am assuming you are not using any type of router then?
The ideal setup is to have a router / hub and plug both devices into this and then either bridge the modem from the router or get rid of the modem and enter your ISP credentials into the router. Your router will then issue each device and IP Address (DHCP) and then from here both devices can see each other on the network. By connecting your x box to the PC, your PC will have an IP address but not the 360, however you should be able to stil use xbox live as your ISP is providing your external IP address
(its a bit complex)
The easy solution is to by a router..

You cant transfer files from your PC to your 360 via the network without the help of a secondary device.
you cant wmp and media centere only streams it doenst send the files to the xbox its self
you need an xport or xsata, mem card and trans cable or maybe a ubb pen if they work
