* PS2 X-Port (.xps)
* PS2 Max Drive (.max)

I have PES 2008 on the ps3 and also have the PES2008 editor, is there any way you can convert the option file you make on the editor into a PS3 suported format.
Really limited with what you can do without the editor.

hi guys - first post - may i just say what a stellar job all you guys do in keeping the best football game about up to date!

not really to up to speed with all this editing malarky - ive downloaded the editor zip tool and unzipped the files - when i run the start dos file i get the response "could not find main class program will exit"

also have downloaded your option file rossy do i need the max drive PC software installed to co-ordinate with this editor? (am on the work laptop you see)

soz for this may sound daft but from what I read here, you can say use rossyboy's OF as a template and add to it using this program?? Can you add patches like for football boots, balls ect to these OF's??

No you can't add patches. Only things that's editable in the game can be added.

sorry if this sounds stupid, but i rememba ppl wud transfer pes6 option files to their ps3's. anyway we can make a ps2 pes2008(with all goodlookin kits) and convert it to a ps3 option file? that way we can have all original kits on the ps3, no more 8 kit restriction..

Is there anyway to transfer individual teams from one option file to another? Using this one i can only transfer all teams from one to the other, but i was hoping to combine some option files somehow.

There are editors for the PC versions of the option files.

One of them is this :

However, all these editors are for the European option files. For the US files, you need PES Editor 2008 US.

And no, there is NO way to convert PES 5 files to 2008 or to convert European to US files.

Also, you need to have java run time environent 1.5 or better to run this PES editor. You can download it at http://sun.java.com
