replacing old option files - how to.

do you just locate them on my ps3 hard drive and delete them or does the new option file overwrite them? any ideas are welcome,

when you put a new option file on the old one is overwritten

when u copy a new option file over, your PS3 should prompt you as to whether or not you'd like to overwrite your option file
