'MEMORY CARD TRANSFERING FOR .BIN AND .GSX, for .bin you may need to download 'xport' software off of codejunkies

FOR .BIN memory card - extract zipped the folder, choose which .bin files to use- either the top 4 H/A kit one or the 8 teams home kits onse and put them to one side, plug in ur 360 memory card and usb converter cable, go to your existing PES folder where the existing 76kb options file is, transfer the chosen .bin files to your memory card by drag and dropping them individually into the PES folder of your memory card, take out your memory card, put memory card in xbox, go to dashboard, delete your existing edit and uniform files from your HARDDRIVE just leaving your option file (system data saves 76kb) if you haven’t done already, copy the new edit and uniform files from your memory card to the hard drive, remove memory, play game, check the edit screen to see if changes occured, if so play... if not do this MOVE fix-go back to 360 dashboard, open hard drive files, look for pes saves, if they say 'unknown' next to them- select MOVE and then select the same hard drive they are on anyway as their destination and your xbox user name will appear next to them.. now they will work.

FOR XPLODER .GSX- extract the zipped folder to your PC, put the .gsx files of your choice (choose either the top 4 H/A kit one or the 8 teams home kits one) in your PC’s game saves folder (C:\Program Files\Xploder\XBOX 360 Cheatsaves\Saves) turn on your xploder software, plug in your 360 memory card and usb converter cable, transfer them from PC to your memory cards PES2008 folder, this turns them back from .GSX to .bin, take out your memory card, put memory card in xbox, go to dashboard, delete your existing edit and uniform files from your HARDRIVE just leaving your option file (system data saves 76kb) if you haven’t done already. Copy the new edit and uniform files from your memory card to the hard drive, remove memory, play game, check the edit screen to see if changes occured, if so play... if not do this MOVE fix-go back to 360 dashboard, open hard drive files, look for pes saves, if they say 'unknown' next to them- select MOVE and then select the same hard drive they are on anyway and your xbox user name will appear next to them.. now they will work.

FOR XSATA HARD DRIVE TRANSFERING-(Make sure you have a PES2008 option file already set up on the 360)
1. Connect the XSATA thingy to the 360 and then connect the HD to the 360. Do not switch on the 360 yet.
2. Run the Xplorer 360 software on the PC.
3. Connect the USB cable to the back of the port in the XSATA on your 360. Connect the other end into the PC.
4. Boot up the 360 – the PC should now recognise the hardware (the 360) and your 360 should not find any profiles.
5. Go back into the Xplorer 360 software and from the top menu select Drive, Open, Hardware or Memcard.
6. This should give you three partitions on the left hand side of the screen.
7. Select Partition 3 and folders should appear on the right hand side.
8. Double click on the content folder. This will bring up a folder “000000000000000” and then more folders dependant on the number of profiles you have set up.
9. Double click into the profile folder (hopefully you only have one profile, if not look at the dates and try and work out which one you need!) and this should then give you the game saves. You need to identify the PES2008 one (on mine it is 4B4E07E6 but not sure if that is consistent with all 360’s). Once identified double click into it.
10. This should bring up another folder called ‘00000001’. Double click into this and there should be your option file sat there (PES2008_OPTION01.bin). If you have any EDIT or UNIFORM files, right click on them and delete them.
11. Download the files and unzip the zipped folder and select one of the .bin folders (choose either the top 4 H/A kit 4 kit one or the 8 teams home kits one).
12. Back into Xplorer 360, on the right hand side of the screen, right click the mouse and select insert file. Locate the unzipped .bin folder from the download and one by one insert the EDIT and UNIFORM files into Xplorer.
13. Once finished click on Drive, Close and exit out of the Xplorer programme.
14. Disconnect the USB from the PC and your 360 will now reboot. You will now see your profiles that couldn’t be seen whilst connected to the PC and when you load PES2008 up, the edit file and kits should be there.
15. IF the files are not working do the MOVE fix-go back to 360 dashboard, open hard drive files, look for pes saves folder and click to open it, if any of the files still say 'unknown' or editingsfun next to them (instead of your xbox live user name)- select MOVE and then select the same hard drive they are on anyway and your xbox user name will appear next to them.. now they will work.

YOU WILL NEED SOME SORT OF CABLE THAT ATTACHES EITHER A 360 MEMORY CARD OR 360 HARD DRIVE TO YOUR PC TO USE THESE FILES, A USB KEY DOESNT TRANSFER SAVES.

THE FILE WILL CONTAIN-
- all premiership kits (using the in game editor, no sponsors/badges)
- 70% of international kits (using the in game editor)
- 8 photo kits ( manu h/a, liverpool h/a, chelsea h/a "yellow", arsenal h/a)
- competition names corrected
-ALL transfers completed as per the PESFAN original list.
- 1 created player (K.Jones- Sunderland)
- ALL player names corrected (club and international)
-Premiership team names corrected.
THIS FILE WILL 'NOT' CONTAIN- corrected badges, or photo kits for the remaining PREM teams. 30% of the international kits, rest of the missing players

Just a quicke - If you are using the XPORT system, you can simply overwite your old files direct on to your hard drive (at least for me you can!)

I went on live yesterday and was fine even though lenex had upload the previous test file. If anything my spare xbox360 would get banned but i doubt this very much for 3 reasons-

1. The options file that contains the 'security risk' and contains all the gamer achievements is seperate and a completely different file to the one i am uploading

2. I believe the edit and uniform files have been 'purposely' seperated from the options file. I believe this was done to allow us to swap files because I have NEVER seen this type of option file layout before.

3. When questioned about trading pes option files microsoft ONLY stated the trading of option files was illegal, they didnt mention edit and uniform files.... maybe a clue.

ANYWAY,still download at your own risk

Yeah, I quite like playing with the hammers- fast skillful players, fun to use and yet not 'too' good so that u lose the challenge aspect.

I was thinking about just doing 8 Prem teams first team kits and leaving the second kits without sponsors.... but I though people would moan too much. To be honest with ya my favourite playing teams are man city, arsenal and westham.... and I had to leave two of them out :(

If you have a memory card already, buy one of the little usb cables (xploder or xport) as u can ebay these for a tenner. If you dont have a memory card, you may aswell splash out on xsata..... (well thats what i would do anyway)

The user profile name that the save is in is made up.... It even has a little pirate as its display pic :)
My xbox user profile name is much more like my user name here :)

errrrrm i think medium length then straight and then go to style and go left instead of right (so it goes to the higher numbers) then go left till u see one with the hairband, I used that one made the band white and the hair a brown colour, looks much more like him
I also changed his name to just torres on the back of his shirt (instead on f.torres) and gave riise the red adidas boots (bottom left ones) as thats what he wears.....

If your kit is just a cable of some kind, just download the drivers needed to turn it into one of the others. For instance- I uploaded my GSX files using my xploder, uninstalled the xploder software and then downloaded and installed the xport software instead and managed to upload in .bin!!!! :)

I always found in previous carnations of pro evo that if you edit a players abilities OR appearnce they never seem to dribble 'quite' the same again. So I never do any player edits unless necessary (but maybe that me being a little paranoid and weird..... :w00t )

I havent got an xsata... but basically - delete all your pes files except the 76kb system save file, download these bin files and drop them in the pes2008 folder in your 360 hard drive (i guess)

I used my xsata fine, connect your xsata to your 360, then connect it to the PC with the USB cable. (As you usually would with the xsata)

Then you load up Xplorer360, then from there you can browse your 360's hard drive, just find the location of the files called PES2008_EDIT01.bin and other similar files..

Download the .bin version of this option file, then put the bin files in the folder on your 360 hard drive. :D Quick and easy.

I can transfer game saves from my xbox360 to my mem card and then save that onto my pc.

dunno mate, try saving the files to ur desktop and 'drag and drop' it into the datel softwares window.

Did you look in the progamme folder (c/programs/datel et...)to see if there is a saves folder in there? with exploder you pop them in there.

i just installed the xport software and done it then!!!! i just put my memory card in the usb connector and plugged it in, opened the folder in partition 2/ content. and then dragged and dropped the new edit and uniform filles into this open folder that was being displayed in the main window (drop and drag is to left click a file without letting go of the left key, drag the file where you want it placed and let go of the left key)

you then connect your this memory card to your xbox, delete your existing pes uniform and edit files (leaving the 76kb option file) from your hard drive and then copy the files from your memory card to your PES folder that is in your hard drive.

If you have a memory card already buy either the xport or xploder (xploder cheat saves) usb adapter cables, i got mine from ebay. If you havent got a spare memory card you may aswell get xsata instead (what u pay in the extra price u save by not having to splash on the extra mem card) this links your 360 hard drive direct to your PC.

- 70% of international kits (using the in game editor)
- 8 photo kits ( manu h/a, liverpool h/a, chelsea h/a "yellow", arsenal h/a)
- competition names corrected
-ALL transfers completed as per the PESFAN original list.
- 1 created player (K.Jones- Sunderland)
- ALL player names corrected (club and international)
-Premiership team names corrected.
THIS FILE WILL 'NOT' CONTAIN- corrected badges, or photo kits for the remaining PREM teams. 30% of the international kits, rest of the missing players

i just installed the xport software and done it then!!!! i just put my memory card in the usb connector and plugged it in, opened the folder in partition 2/ content. and then dragged and dropped the new edit and uniform filles into this open folder that was being displayed in the main window (drop and drag is to left click a file without letting go of the left key, drag the file where you want it placed and let go of the left key)

you then connect your this memory card to your xbox, delete your existing pes uniform and edit files (leaving the 76kb option file) from your hard drive and then copy the files from your memory card to your PES folder that is in your hard drive.

On the 1st page of this thread giz_19 has included pictures of the kits after loading the files onto his HD, but when i check my kits the Chelsea away still has black marks down the side of the imported picture whereas giz_19's seem to have stretched the pic to remove the lines, why is this? can i alter the pics on my 360?

i've given both those a go but they still come out the same, with the black lines from the photo, its a weird 1! maybe you could pm me your file and i could try that? do you think it could be a setting on the 360 itself? widescreen maybe? i play in widescreen do you?

I got mine out the box the other day as it had been gathering dust for months, plugged it in and took less than a minute, plugged in the usb cable, connected it to my PC.. easy. It really isn't that complicated.

back in the day, everyone used to agree to adhere to the same stats guidline (to stop hull city being better than barce ...) this guidline used to be to use the same stats given to the players by the latest edition of 'championship manager' (ie. heading shooting etc.) although these days football manager is the leading game (same team of developers, different publisher) .....

You are unzipping (decompressing) the files download first arent you? and downloading in .bin?

PS. THERE IS ANOTHER FOLDER INSIDE THE PES 2008 FOLDER of your memory card, probably called 00000001, please make sure you are individually dropping the files in there. ta

(although i DEFINATLEY recommend reinstalling xploder---- you just download the gsx files, extract, and just drag the files from your screen and drop them in C/program files/xploder/saves folder. when you then restart your card it shows them in the 'PC window', you just drag and drop them across into the memory cards pes folder then.)

The answer is 'no' to needing a memory card if you already have the xport that connects directly to your hard drive. ( we are just downloading the xport software cause it works with cards too)

i have got it to work!!!!! The problem is that you need to download a driver for 512Mb Memory cards when using xport to transfer the data.
see below:

1. Click Start, then "run".
2. Enter "devmgmt.msc" in the run edit box and click OK.
3. In device manager, open the "Universal Serial Bus controllers" tree.
4. You will see at least two devices called "USB Mass Storage Device".
5. Right click the first "USB Mass Storage Device" and select "update driver".
6. In the hardware update wizard, select "No, not this time", click next.
7. Select "Install from a specific location", click next.
8. Select "Don’t search, I will select the driver to install, click next.
9. In the driver selection box, click the "Have Disk" button.
10. Locate the "XPort 360.inf" file, usually found in "C:\Program Files\Datel\XPort 360".
11. The driver "X360 MU USBIO" should now be selected, click next.
12. Click "finish".

About people adding to the OF. Wouldn't it be great to be able to play an english master leage with the Premier League as Div 1 and the Championship as Div 2?!

That would make it much more realistic for us english football fans. Instead of having teams from other countries moving up to Div 1, we could have Championship teams. I can't stand the ML i'm playing now. Two Italien teams just went up into my "Premier League Div 1".

This option would make for 100% realism, 100% fun.

Also there is a Championship thread on pesfan which could help. I would help but I havn't created anything with quality on pes ever.

You are right. Konami screwed up again and you can't use the League C teams in the master league.

I personally would edit the Championship teams over WE and PES United (or whatever they're called) and the dutch league except Ajax, PSV and Feyenoord. Then i would edit over three not so great teams in either France or Rest of europe.

I know it's not the perfect thing, but for us english fans it's a must. It's all bad becaus of konami once again. Why oh why can't we have a proper edit mode for once?

Anyway what do you think of that?

Shit, you can't. There is no way of getting the championship in to a Master League.

The best you can do is use Celtic and Rangers and create two Championship teams over Pes and We United.

Philly gooner. in the instructions on the first page it tells you what to do when this happens- go back to your 360 dashboard, open the memory, open the pes folder- the files will probably have 'unknown' written next to them- now select each file in turn and select 'move' ,Now move the files to the same memory card they are on anyway, now instead of 'unknown' written next to them they should now have your live user name next to them. Now they will load. thanx

Dunno mate, you tell me???? :) Its more than likely 'IF' they were to ban anything it would be my spare xbox. BUT PERSONALLY (don't let this sway your decision)...... I am 90% sure we are okay to download for 4 reasons-

1. The options file that contains the 'security risk' and contains all the gamer achievements is seperate and a completely different file to the ones i am uploading ( i only upload edit.bin and unifom.bin/s)

2. I believe the edit and uniform files have been 'purposely' seperated from the options file. I believe this was done to allow us to swap files because I have NEVER seen this type of option file layout before.

3. When questioned about trading pes option files microsoft ONLY stated the trading of option files was illegal, they didnt mention edit and uniform files.... maybe a clue.

4. default files are loaded when you play online anyway (if this makes any dif)
ANYWAY,still download at your own risk

im done with xploder software as it did not pick my card up the xport one does however i cant see 3 partitions i only see 2 so i cant get my saves to appear on my xbox PLEASE HELP!!!

to get the option file working on my 360 using the datel kit I did the following .....

Installed my mem card in windows using these drivers ...

used the Xplorer360 software to browse the memory unit ... (google it .... beta 6 version)
found the folder with pes2008 files .... and inserted the new ones overwriting the old ones ..... I then moved files from MU to 360 HDD .

to be honest.... it took ALOT of editing to get the scan and the colours to match. So, no, I don't think I will be editing it again. ( I even had to use mirrors, varying degrees of natural and artificial light and shade panels to create a decent red when photographing with that rubbish live camera) thanx

u gotta use the camera to create the kits mate, he only reason mine look better than normal is that i printed 'squashed' high detail glossy photos of each jpeg and photographed them using as many lighting methods as i could get my hands on :)

Hard drive reading with x360USB guide

1) Install xplorer 360

2)plug the HD adapter directly into the 360 hard drive
(no need to take case off!)
-see bottom pic for what HD adaptor looks a bit like.
(new revision blue,came with x360Usb and looks like a blue bit of motherboard!) -

3)Plug the sata cable into the HD adaptor.
(came with x360usb)


4)Plug the other end of the sata cable into the x360usb

5)Plug the black USB wire which also came with the x360usb into the other end of the x360usb and into the PCs spare USB port.

6)Plug a spare molex cable from your PC case (or use USB cable-not supplied and stick it in the usb socket on HD adapter) into the HD adapter to give power.

7)Windows should detect new usb hardware which can only be read by running xplorer 360.

8)Run xplorer360->goto Partition 3

9)find the files to replace/add in -
4B4E07E6->000000001->
(if more than 1 profile with a pes08 save you will have more than 1 of these folders)

Cheers gjsmsmith. I didnt realise all I had to do if I had a datel xchange 360 was to simply uninstall the software and load up the latest xploder software. Very handy, and I dont have to try converting z36 files into bin files. Saves me a lot of hassle. Looking good!

First off, I've been following this thread in the shadows since it began and before I say anything - GJSMITH - You sir, are more than a legend, you are a GOD! Thank you for making these files and giving everyone so much support!!!! You should have made yourself a player and put it in the files.........

Now on to the boring bit.... I went out today and got an XPLODER and memory card. Transferring the files from pc to mem card then from mem card to xbox went perfectly. The edit file and all the uniform saves appear on my xbox and all should be well BUT...

No matter what I do they will not take effect. I have followed the suggested fix repeatedly but:

1. They do not say 'unknown' or my gamer tag, just just the size of the file
2. When I try to copy or move to the same destination to re label them it says "Cant transfer Item - The destination device was the same as the source" and no change happens

As no one else seems to have had this problem I imagine my retard gland has swollen to 3 times its natural size and I am doing something very stupid! I would appreciate any help AT ALL as I'm about to launch my x box out of the window!

double check-

1. you are downloading the gsx files if you are using xploder (NOT the bin files)
2. you have deleted your own edit and uniform .bin files and have placed the editingisfun ones in the correct folder.

*if the problem still persists*

1.take out your hard drive, put your memory card in your xbox360 (all whilst turned off)
2. a) format memory card using the dashboard
2b) create a fake 'new' user tag on your memory card and sign in
3. start a game of PES2008 and save the settings
4 turn off and take the card out
5. connect card to PC and and transfer the editing is fun files to your card in the PES folder that is there now. (deleting any existing edit or uniform files)
6. put card and harddrive in xbox 360
7. delete your edit and uniform files from your hard drive (leaving the option file)
8. copy the edit and uniform files from your card to your hard drive
9. turn off and remove memory card

Thats all the advice i can give you as this is the exact same way i transfered for the first time.

now that i have extracted them i am dragging the file across one at a time and downloading them onto my mem card , after i had downloaded the first 3 files onto my mem card i took the mem card out and went to try it on my 360 i loaded pes 2008 up and loaded the mem card then checked the big four and none of them had the right kits ,

I have a problem. Today I went out and bought the Xploder "Game Saves" and a 64MB Memory Unit, so that I could upload this file to my Xbox 360. However, when I was setting up my Xploder account, it asked me to type in me Product Key. I have done this now about 20 times, yet to no avail. It says: "Invalid Product Key". Has anyone got any advice? Do you have to put a - in between or something? I am frazzled, please help.

:) unfortunatley khan the end product photo always has to be taken with the xboxlive camera, so as for xtra sharpness..... there is nothing else i can do. ( i already build and print squashed/distorted A4 Jpegs of each kit on photo paper etc. to be pictured by the crappy live camera and adjust the lighting... can't think of anything else to improve it) thanx :)

I think im right in geussing there will be no stat changes in the option file as it is always open to interpretation......I ahte playing on pes when people have edited players stats

Thats, right giz, the only player edits are the bulk of appearance edits you added and a few appearance edits i added too. No existing player stats/scores/percentages have been altered in anyway other than custom league 'c' team D which contains created players using the football manager to pes 'verter' for 99% of their stats..

Been searching HIGH AND LOW for this option file (I KNEW IT WAS SOMEWHERE !!!). You guys who make this ARE LEGENDS !!.

Right ive got a xsata hdd (can trasfer stuff from 360 2 pc and vice verse) coming sometime next week and I really want the real deal in a top class option file.

I understand about the clubs saying we can't do it but oh well screw em.

Is the option file on the 1st page of these thread the real deal ?

u need to download the .bin files for xsata. yes they are the real deal (although i will be releasing 2x new updates soon, 1 having 8 seperate photo home kits( see above))
the option files linked to at the start of this thread, V1.1 contain-
All correctly edited names (club a& international),a few re-edited player appearances, all english club team kits edited with the in game editor, most international kits edited with the in game editor, 8 photo realsitic kits (chelski H/A, Gooners H/A, red half of merseyside H/A, united H/A and k. jones from sunderland created.

The NEW option file V1.2a and 1.2b (which isnt out yet) will have-
LOTS of extra player edits (giz), more edited international kits, some championship teams in custom 'C' group, more updated keeper kits and the choice of different photo kit packs- option A) (chelski H/A, Gooners H/A, red half of merseyside H/A, united H/A OR option B)- city H, Pompey(or everton, undecided)H, Villa H, Hammers H, chelski H, Gooners H, red half of merseyside H, united H
