Paste this over your PES2008_OPTION1.bin in
My Documents\KONAMI\Pro Evolution Soccer 2008\save\
(backup your old one if you wish to).

I am currently using FireFX_EnDD's EDIT files, he has every master league unlocked players' names changed, but has yet to the classic teams. But all squads, team names, and transfers are updated to the latest.

yup, same thing here...i'm still waiting for what they call "The Ultimate Patch" where every bit of editing is completed before starting a proper Master League.

Thats strange, it's still working perfectly fine for me.

You may have visited the link when the site was experiencing difficulties.

Try once more, if there are still problems, i'll upload it to MegaUploads.

It's not PESshop anymore, you just unlock features/teams/players by accomplishing certain tasks.

you can see what there is to unlock or what you have already unlocked by going to Gallery, then Track Record from the main menu.
However, if you want to have everything unlocked, download the file, extract it, and put it into My Documents\Konami\Pro Evolution Soccer 2008\save

But i just bought a new pc just for PES 2008 because the video card was too low, but i dont have a PES2008_OPTION1.bin..

You shouldnt have a PES2008_OPTION1.bin if you have just installed the game (or yet to install obviously), the file only appears when you have played the game at least once.

Whether you have the PES2008_OPTION1.bin or not, you should just download the file from the link i provided, then put it in the save folder for the Pro Evo 2008 directory in My Documents. (My Documents\KONAMI\Pro Evolution Soccer 2008\save).

This should do it...

lol, sorry...cant help you here, as I have no knowledge of PS3 patching and files, I guess you have to ask around in the PS3 threads.

It doesnt work, i played the game a lot by now, and only one in that folder is PES2008_EDIT1.bin.. And when i just put PES2008_OPTION1.bin in the folder nothing changes. Very weird. And when i start the game everytime it asks amateur, beginner, top player etc. I need to load in EDIT everytime before i can get further with my last game.

i think you have a common problem that alot of PC users had, where you couldnt load the Option Files...

...since i havent experienced it before, i dont know how to fix it, i'm sure the solution is posted somewhere in this forum.

lol, the moment i say this problem has never occured to me, it actually happened...
...but this only happens to me when i dont have my USB>Playstation Controller plugged in, and was fixed once i plugged it back in.

...so...

i reckon the problem might be the settings in 'Start Menu>Program Files>Konami>Pro Evolution Soccer 2008>Settings' not sure though, and it's best to seek other threads for proper instructions.

Click you want the classic or legend players when you start the Master League. You would have to wait till the mid-season transfer window at least to see some of these players...


If it's installation problems...

Have you installed everything as instructed in my first post?

Or you could be having the problem that Les Gones has had...(read a few posts up if this is the case).
