Here is an Addon for my Video Adboard collection.

This 1mb file replaces the crappy stadium tier banners.

Works perfectly in conjuction with my video style adboard pack. In fact, it enhances them as you now get twice as many ad hoardings in most Stadiums.....
You DO NOT need my video ads for this to still work tho'.......

I Haven't altered the " Special " stadiums like Bernabeu, as they already have there own unique Tier ads.

To Install :

EITHER :

Open your cv_1.img with GGS Studio located in x/Program Files/Konami/Pro Evolution Soccer 2008/img.

When you have opened it, open the folder called 0-99 in the pane on the left.

Scroll down to Adboards_39.bin, Right click on it and choose " Import a file over this one ", then browse to
the " Adboards_39.bin " in the download and Import......That's it, they are in the game.

If you cannot find a file in the 0-99 folder called " Adboards_39.bin ", but you DO find a file called

"unnamed_39.bin ", then just rename the downloaded file " Adboards_39.bin " to " unnamed_39.bin " and follow the procedure above.

For some reason, GGS appears to show different names to different people sometimes depending on their install....


If you are having problems with GGS then another way to import them is:

Rename the file that you downloaded " Adboards_39.bin " found in the " Stadium Tier Ads " folder to " unnamed_39.bin ".

Open cv_1.img with AFS 3.7

Scroll down to unnamed_39.bin, right click, choose " Import " and then browse to the file that you just renamed......select it....Job Done !!


I HAVEN'T needed to modify any reserve space for this, but then i do not have the 1.1 patch installed as i
don't play PES online very often. I can't tell you whether you need to modify space or not if you have patched....

This is a sweet mod thank you. But I have a very small gripe with it, and need a bit of help. I'm always getting that add with the womans face on (fuji film?) and its annoying me seeing it in the background all the time with so many other good ones in there. Can someone tell me how to remove it without screwing up the mod, or a way of using one of the other adds again to replace it?

Hi....Just open Adboards_38.bin with GGS. Then go to open file, select any board you like qand drag and drop it over the in the bottom pane that you want to replace.

Um ok that doesnt work for me. I had to use ASF explorer to get the add hoardings in because I was getting the space error. Now when I use GGS it says it cant load the ASF file and just stops.

SO I tried to open the download file of your and edit that and add that in instead. But I can figure out how or where to get the hoardings to use replacing one from and how to get them in properly to the one I'm replacing, or how to remove one. I know I sound like and idiot, but really I know roughly what I need to do I'm just stuck on the fine points like the proper procedure for doing it.

Ok I figured out a work-around for my problem and I have sorted it now.
Basically what happened was GGS woudnt open any files in the game folder , I think because I had edited the CV_1 file with AFS (as per mem error workaround). In order to help others if they encounter the same issue here a guide to what to do.


Open downloaded addboard bin file in GGS , then choose open file and selected the new addboard you want to add from the addboards selection folder. This brings the new addboard up in the GGS window. From there drag the addboard from the GGS window and drop it over the addboard you wish to replace in the lower GGS panel.

Now close GGS (it autosaves the edit) , and open AFS explorer. Scoll down to unnammed_38.bin (this is high-lighted in green from original addboard editing) . Right-click and choose "import", and select the new edited addboard bin file (the one you edited in GGS).

Hey, great patch mate.

I just have one problem. The adboards don't show around the field. Only on the second tier and behind the first row of adboards around the field.

The adboards directly round the pitch all show the red Konami board, in every stadium.

Do you know why this is and can you help me fix it? Thanks in advance

You may already know this but have you tried disconnecting from the internet when you play PES2008?...as Konami blocks most types of advertisments when you are connected.

I didn't knew that. Thanks mate. I tried it and it worked, I could see all the adboards, great!

( Goddamn Konami though, that's really sad what they are doing.)

yup, very sad indeed, especially blocking the adboards & replay logos to advertise themselves in their own game where the Konami logo is already displayed everywhere else in PES.

i've got a little problem here when i was trying to import the adboard.39 from ggs ... it says 'file is too big, try inserting file one by one in BMP format?' then i choose 'yes' but then th GGS not responding ...
i've already patched to 1.20 version ... is that the problem?
