They cheated, it's not okay, Eboue does it all the time and I'm not suprsised but I'm disappointed in Rosicky.
Is that what you wanted to hear? Stop trying to point people out as hypocrites and post something useful for a change.
Every good player dives. I have nothing against diving because there are rules in place to stop it. If a player gets away with it they have done a good job for the team.
What I want people to realise is that the way football is you would silly not to gain an advantage where can. So when people say thing like "I am disapointed in Rosicky" it makes me laugh, since I cant name a player that wouldn't do it and neither could you. You are not being a hypocrite, good for you.
My purpose was not to point people out and make myself feel good for doing so, thats not my style although it is the norm here. I just want to open peoples eyes to the reality that is DIVING IS PART OF THE GAME. The fact that everyone does it confirms this.

The football that Arsenal played today should have been enough to win the match.
Arsenal deserved the win, they dominated most of the 2nd half, creating chances and dominating the ball in the midfield; they were unlucky when the ball hit the post on 3 occasions, but that's football.
Good match nonetheless.

Story of our season really
The ref was shocking today.
I thought he did a very good job of letting the game flow. But admittedly those yellows for Lehmann, Berbatov and Diaby were harsh.
JERMAINE JENAS
By the way, there are two halves in football games. Tottenham dominated first, arsenal the second. 2-2 about right.

Wouldn't necessarily say they dominated the first half, although did they play better than us. B we had a goal disallowed, hit the post, missed a sitter - we created chances too. However, in the second half, I don't think Lehmann made one save.

IS THIS PROOF OF THAT AN ARSENAL TAKEOVER MAY COMMENCE?
ARSENE WENGER has made a dramatic U-turn over the foreign ownership of British football clubs as American Stan Kroenke fights for control of Arsenal.
The Gunners boss vehemently opposed foreign takeovers - but now appears ready to welcome Kroenke, saying "I am not against foreign ownership of clubs. How could I be?
"I am a foreign manager and there are many foreign players at Arsenal and in the Premiership. But it has to be done in the right way. If it happens at Arsenal it would not mean I'd quit the club."
Wenger was furious after the Arsenal board booted out his close pal, David Dein, this week for backing Kroenke's bid for the club.
Kroenke is now plotting a hostile £650 million takeover, and will hold emergency strategy talks with Dein this week to plot his next move.
Until now, he could have expected opposition from Wenger, who had previously stated foreign buys-outs were: "not necessarily good for the game".
When asked about the Gunners, he even insisted: "I don't know if it will ever happen to Arsenal — I hope not.
"Until now, one of the charms of English football has been that the fans purhcase and control clubs. I find it reassuring that my owners are English and fans of Arsenal."
Kicked
But the Arsenal boss now seems to have undergone a substantial change of heart, as he revealed when Liverpool were being bought by Yanks Gordon Gillett and Tom Hicks.
Talking about that takeover, he indictated a willingness to accept an overseas owner, provided he didn't meddle in team affairs.
He said: "If it came to foreign ownership there could not be any interference on the playing side."
Dein was kicked off the Arsenal board on Wednesday after trying to persuade shareholder Lady Bracewell-Smith to back Kroenke's takeover bid.
She alerted other board members, who decided Dein was not acting in the best interests of the club.
It was Dein who championed Wenger, when managing Grampus Eight in Japan, to replace Bruce Rioch in 1997.
The success story since not only vindicated Dein's judgment but has strengthened the bond.
Quite apart from Wenger admitting that until the events of the past week he spoke to Dein " four or five times a day"….the two men and their wives have strong social links.
Their homes are close by in the opulent north London suburb of Totteridge where many transfer deals have been discussed and brought to fruition.
While Wenger has a good relationship with other members of the board his allegiance to Dein runs deep.
And sources close to Arsenal acknowledge it is impossible for Wenger to have been unaware of Dein's vision for the club's future.

Yes something would change....
We would have an owner who's aim for the club is financial gain, rather than the current owners who are there or the money but also the fact that they genuinly have personal ties to our great club....
The pressures on Wenger would change.... He's been afforded alot of leeway by the board because he has a long-term project going on....
Im sure Kroenke would'nt be as patient or forgiving....

Why Arsenal are reluctant to venture down America way
Despite a growing acceptance in England of foreign ownership, Arsenal are well-equipped to resist the lure of the dollar.
David Conn
April 20, 2007 1:00 AM
In the fall-out from the shock of David Dein's departure from the Arsenal boardroom where he made his name and fortune, we are beginning to see how far English football's guts and heart have moved in the last couple of years.
When Manchester United fans were fighting the Glazer family's campaign to buy the club, most in football instinctively supported them. The Glazers were viewed as remote, motivated purely by making money, and there was revulsion at their saddling with debt the only club with money in the bank. Yet the Arsenal chairman Peter Hill-Wood's startling echo of the United fans' battle cries, saying he would be "horrified if the club were to go across the Atlantic," has not met the same heartfelt agreement.
Arsenal fans, and the wider football public, have been tamed into an acceptance of foreign ownership, by Randy Lerner's seemly takeover at Aston Villa, and Tom Hicks' and George Gillett's excellent PR at Liverpool - give or take their odd pledge of huge respect for the "franchise" of "Reds". Most fans seem to believe the Americans come in peace, and bring barrels of cash, too.
Arsenal supporters, then, want to understand that the board's decision to oppose a takeover is based on sound thinking for the club, not just turning away a "stranger." It is worth remembering the shareholders, by their stance, are rejecting massive personal windfalls - at £6,800 per share, Hill-Wood would make £3.4m if he sold, and Danny Fiszman, the major shareholder, would make £102m and probably, like David Moores at Liverpool who made £89m, attract no criticism if he sold out to Stan Kroenke.
They say, though, that they are swimming against the tide in Arsenal's best interests, based on facts about the other takeovers which have either been widely forgotten, or not adequately learned. Manchester United may be thrilling on the field this season, but the Glazers have not brought investment to Old Trafford. They have burdened the club with debts of £660m, six times the level which caused the collapse of Peter Ridsdale's Leeds. That massive borrowing was incurred not to expand the stadium, which was done with cash, but to pay for nothing more worthwhile than the Glazers' own takeover.
Hicks' and Gillett's acquisition of Liverpool is also based on borrowing money. They borrowed the £174m to buy Liverpool, and may make the club repay the interest on that. The club itself will then borrow a further £200m to build their new stadium; Hicks' and Gillett's contribution is to guarantee the borrowings. Arsenal fans believing they need a Kroenke to enable them to "compete" with Liverpool's Americans have it the wrong way round. Liverpool had to be taken over by billionaires because they are years behind Arsenal.
Arsenal borrowed £260m to build their stadium, but, given London prices and unrestrained banqueting at the Emirates, its revenues are filling the club's coffers already. The board is confident they can service that mortgage, and find money for Arsène Wenger in the summer, without having to go cap in hand to an "investor". Fans should also remember that the one motivation all the new owners share - Abramovich, the oligarch, aside - is that they all plan to make money out of the clubs, not lose money on them. Hill-Wood told me that Arsenal are different; they, unlike Liverpool, have built their stadium, and he recalled that the Glazers' was a hostile bid which the United board opposed throughout, but lost.
Dein, though, was for many the public face of the Arsenal boardroom, and if Fiszman and Hill-Wood are to win the PR, and, possibly, a real takeover battle with a Dein and Kroenke alliance, they need to explain their plans to fans in an open, grown-up way. A progressive move might be to invite the fans to invest, for shares, a potentially inspiring vision for a successful modern football club to retain a traditional, fan-based ownership.
Hill-Wood's statement of principled opposition to the idea of a takeover seems no longer enough, for football fans who do not even recoil anymore when Americans roll up and talk about our clubs as franchises.
Interesting article.
I can't believe we didn't beat the scum. Unbelievable.

There is a bit of speculation as to who will be our new director of football, Wenger used to work with a guy called Henri Biancheri at Monaco who has said he is open to any propositions or proposals Wenger may have.
Any other realistic contenders people would like to see get the job?
Also the papers reckon that Real Madrid will come calling for Gallas at the end of the season.
Id like to see Arsenal go for Woodgate in the summer, played excellent against Utd at the weekend and has had a great season.

He was the youngest of the WC66 winning team and judging from the tributes that are pouring in he was a well respected and well liked person.
Someone said his tireless running was the key to Englands WC66 win and that he was man of the match in the final.
Here are some of the goals he scored for the club.

Lehmann 'signs new Arsenal deal'
Jens Lehmann has extended his contract at Arsenal for another year, according to reports in Germany.
The Germany international goalkeeper's new deal will keep him at the Emirates Stadium until 2008.
Lehmann told Bild magazine: "I'm going to stay an extra year, Arsenal's a great club with a good outlook.
The 37-year-old wanted a two-year extension but Arsenal's policy is only to offer one-year deals to players aged over 30.
Lehmann's decision will disappoint Bundesliga outfit Hertha Berlin, who fancied their chances of landing the keeper at the end of the season.
The big draw for Lehmann is the chance to play in the Champions League next season, with Hertha lying seventh in the Bundesliga and unable to qualify.
Lehmann was sent off in last season's Champions League final against Barcelona and admitted: "I want to play in the Champions League next season."
Since joining Arsenal from Borussia Dortmund at the age of 33, Lehmann has signed three successive one-year contracts with the club.
Lehmann has retained his status as Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger's first choice ahead of Manuel Almunia and Mart Poom.

Eto'o to Arsenal?
Arsenal are ready to discuss a player swap with Barcelona for strike-ace Samuel Eto'o.
El Mundo Deportivo says Gunners boss Arsène Wenger is desperate to bring the Cameroon ace to London this summer and is willing to offer cash plus players to make the deal happen.
Wenger's move has the backing of Thierry Henry, who has expressed concerns about the club's ambition. Henry is good friends with Eto'o and would love to play in attack with him next season at Emirates.

Arsenal 0-0 Umea (agg 1-0)
Arsenal Ladies became the first British club to win the Uefa Women's Cup after a tight and tense second-leg stalemate.
The Gunners rode their luck at times in the final, Umea substitute Ramona Bachmann hitting the post and Marta curling onto the bar from a free kick.
Home keeper Emma Byrne also brilliantly denied Bachmann, while Jayne Ludlow headed Arsenal's best chance just wide.
But, ultimately, Alex Scott's first-leg winner proved the difference as Arsenal were crowned champions of Europe.
In their 20th anniversary season, it was the third of four titles they are attempting to win and it was undoubtedly the finest four in the club's history.
The Gunners were underdogs against Europe's only full-time professional women's team, twice winners of the competition in the last four seasons.
But in their first appearance in the final, Arsenal produced gritty performances in both legs to win the Cup through Scott's goal.
In front of a 3,467 crowd at Borehamwood FC's Meadow Park, they were on the offensive for the majority of the first half, but the best scoring effort came at the other end.
Lisa Dahlqvist fired in a 37th-minute drive that forced keeper Byrne into a good diving save.
Arsenal began to regain their momentum after the break and captain Ludlow headed over the bar from Lianne Sanderson's 64th-minute free-kick.
And Ludlow was again unfortunate when her header from winger Rachel Yankey's 69th-minute corner was deflected just wide.
But after a spell of pressure the Gunners had Byrne to thank once again after the keeper made a fine stop from Bachmann's 74th-minute 15-yard shot.
Bachmann and Marta both sent well struck shots narrowly over the bar as Umea stepped up their search for a goal to bring the scores level on aggregate.
Teenage Swiss striker Bachmann was desperately unlucky in the 80th minute, when her 18 yard drive rebounded off the post, off Byrne's face and then away for a corner.
And two minutes from time Marta's goalbound 20-yard free-kick cannoned back off the bar.
Nerves were frayed in five minutes of added time, but Arsenal held on to produce an historic result.
Arsenal: Byrne; Scott, Grant, Asante, Phillip; Carney, Chapman, Ludlow (White 90), Yankey, Sanderson, Fleeting.
Subs not used: Tracy, Champ, Larkin, Davison, Spencer, Flaherty.

Although we didn't completely dominate the game, we created a few clear-cut chances in the first half where the scoreline should've been 2 or 3 nil.

This could maybe give you a nice boost going into the upcoming game against Chelsea. I don't think I want you to win though as I'd rather have the trophy presentation at home in front of the 76,000 rather than 2,000 United fans at the Bridge. We played well in the first half, should of went in 2-3 goals up and as per normal we didn't finish the chances. 2nd half we got sloppy and allowed them to brake on us with numbers, something that's catching us all season. At 1-1 I really couldn't see us scoring again and felt it'd finish a draw but to my surprise we made a go of it and that's what pleased me most of all from todays match.
God help the rest of them when we get a full side out there next season, I'm predicting a 10-0 job on someone....

The Legend in Henry has spoken.
Arsenal captain Thierry Henry took a cheeky swipe at bitter rivals Tottenham by criticising their exaggerated celebrations whenever they avoid defeat in the north London derby.
Henry was baffled when Tottenham's players and fans wildly celebrated Jermaine Jenas's last minute equaliser during the team's 2-2 draw at White Hart Lane earlier this month.
The France striker insists Martin Jol's team should show more restraint because they have failed to achieve anything significant this season.
"What makes me laugh is the way Tottenham always celebrate whenever they get a draw against us," Henry told the Arsenal programme for their match against Fulham.
"I would like to remind them that once again they have not made the Champions League. So I was amazed to see their reaction at the full-time whistle.
"I had to look twice at the score on the TV because I thought they had won it the way they were celebrating."
There is little love lost between two clubs who are seperated by just a few miles and, while Henry is currently sidelined with a back injury, his controversial comments will ensure he remains firmly in the spotlight.
"When I celebrated my equaliser against them at home last season I did so because the goal had a meaning," he said.
"It turned out to be an important goal in the race for fourth place. I wasn't going to celebrate just because we drew against Tottenham.
"It was the same when we won the league there in 2004. They equalised to make it 2-2 that day and when I saw Taricco celebrate so much that he injured himself, I said to him 'you do realise we only needed a point and now we are celebrating the title on your ground."

Haha, I was reading that article by Thierry yesterday; great stuff.
See what Martin Jol thinks of that, the cocksure prat.
I didn't think the result flattered us at all. They had their few minutes of pressure after the goal, but we were by far the better side for the majority of the game, and should have been 3-up by half time. We predictably took our foot off the gas and cruised, knowing that Fulham were offering nothing in way of competition, but that's too risky when you've got a goalkeeper with ADHD.
Fantastic finish by Ade. Must have had some tutoring from Thierry, as it was Henry-esque. Hopefully we'll start seeing more of that.

What have Arsenal won whilst Henry has been captain?
Maybe he should keep his mouth shut and focus on getting back to top form. I thought he was better than that, having a cheap dig at spurs to give his fans something to cheer about, you expect that from Chelsea not Arsenal. Your club needs a proper captain, Gilberto and Toure both seem like better candidates that Henry.

He's had numerous injuries since taking over the captaincy, yet still performed brilliantly to guide us to the Champions League final, where we were unfortunate to lose. We're quite clearly a club in transition, but have still reached 2 Cup Finals in 2 years, and on another day, could have easily won both of them. I agree on Gilberto being a more suitable captain, but not Kolo Toure.

Henry has only played 16 Premiership games. Guess how many goals he has scored? 10.
10 goals in 16 games. Thats brilliant mate, and this was while carrying a foot injury. The fact is Henry has been no where near fit and neither has van Persie for most of the season. I'm pretty sure Van Persie may have got 20 Premiership goals if he didn't injure himself while scoring against United back in January. He already had about 12 back then, though it wasn't anywhere near Drogba, it was still impressive considering he spent most of the season on the left wing.
Take away Drogba from Chelsea and I'm sure you would struggle a bit too.
Arsenal have also been verry unlucky. Arsenal should've won every single game at the Emirates stadium. We outplayed every team that has come to our stadium. Dire finishing has cost us, which is really the story of our season.

Because mate this season's home game against West Ham was very different from last season's one. Although it should be noted that they wouldn't have beaten us last season either if it wasn't for a certain man who gifted them two goals and walked out on his team mates at half time.
Anyway the point about this season's game is that we had 30 attempts and scored none, that's all he meant (Viperized, not Dundons I mean...not sure what his point is about the CL)

There are unconfirmed reports that Arsenal have signed Polish goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski from Legia Warsaw.
Fabianski was Poland's reserve goalkeeper during the 2006 World Cup finals.
The fee is being rumoured to be about €3 million.
As yet, reports are just trickling in from Polish news sources, so we'll provide an updates as soon as we get them.

Fabianski Profile (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%C5%81ukasz_Fabia%C5%84ski)
Regarding Eto'o, no matter what his attitude has been like this season for Barcelona, we should pull out all the stops to sign him, as he would be all that we need in attack, and more. Those who read FourFourTwo magazine may have read his interview last month where, when asked who the best 3 attackers in world football are, he replied "Thierry Henry, Thierry Henry and Thierry Henry!" and praises him again during the interview, while he has also on more than one occasion spoke of his admiration and respect for Arsene Wenger and remarked of him as a "dream coach". I can only see him being an outstanding success at Arsenal, and if we could sign any one striker in the world, he'd be my pick. He's a perfect fit.
It's obviously likely we'd have to break the bank to land him, or be prepared to use Robin van Persie as bait, as Barca aren't going to be interested in the likes of Aliadiere, Ljungberg, Reyes or Flamini.
Anyway, the thought of this made me dribble a little...

Yohan Pele would be an excellent signing. I have heard a couple of rumours about Antii Niemi joining on a free transfer at the end of the season, but it looks like the young Polish keeper, Fabianski, will be joining as #2 for the 07/08 season, with the prospect of being our #1 for the following season when Jens leaves. So much for Manuel Almunia stepping up to be our #1 as Wenger claimed last week. Phew! :)

Definitely, mate. The goals Eto'o is capable of can improve our chances greatly. It'd be fantastic to land him, but obviously there would be significant competition. Hopefully working with Wenger and Henry will tempt him.

You're going to win the league anyway. But saying that, I rather you come as Champions and we give you a guard of honur, instead of you celebrating winning the title at Stamford Bridge.
So I wouldn't mind a draw tomorrow.
I still have faith. (Actually I dont but its better to be optimistic)
If we beat them and West Ham continue their good form maybe they could do us a favour

Eto'o would be unreal for us but no fucking way would I trade young Van Persie for him, RVP is a one off and unlike any other player in the world. I think Eto'o is 50-50 to leave Barca he's tearing the place up on a weekly basis and if he decides to go he'll have the final say on the club he picks I'd imagine so going on what Scareface posted we'll be top of his list.
As for the keeper issue, I'd try sign Gomez from PSV.

Can't say i'm surprised. Proves once again what a little fag he is.
All talk in midweek about how he thinks he's got "the last laugh" by sitting on the bench for a club of whom many fans prefer Wayne Bridge, and watching them struggle to a controversial victory over a young Arsenal side - of whom he used to be idolised - to win the Carling Cup. Then when it comes to the crunch, it looks like he's pussied out again. Shame, things could have turned out so much better for the cunt. He's now heading downhill, and fast.
In more interesting matters, here's a compilation of our likely signing, Lukas Fabianski.
Fabianski (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WEIdZORCJ9c)
Obviously these can always make goalkeepers look far better than they are, but judging from that, he looks like a good shot-stopper, with impressive agility and reflexes.

some interesting shots there - at least he doesnt do a jens when challenged in the air; on the other hand, a lot of hte shots here were fairly straightforward, and ones that he would be expected to save.
true, there were some nice shots of reflexes and agility, but then again some headers were straight at him, and it was as if he was playing to the crowd/ camera.
i found the bit at 1.46 amusing - he made the save, but then the shot switched to another game without showing him pushing the ball onto the feet of another attacker. . . . . .
tbh, i dont know much about him, but i would be extremely reluctant to base any opinions on a compilation such as this.
time will tell whether he is truly a worthy contender to wear our no.1 jersey!
time will tell whether he is truly a worthy contender to wear our no.1 jersey!
I'll have it in about 15 years chaps ;)
As for the Fabianski compilation it is pretty impressive, but like what's already been said, it's selected footage and the only footage I've seen of him.
Mind you, I think from that he must have some volume of top class ability, and I'd take alot of keepers over Jens right now. He needs a fresh challenge, cause he plays better when challenged...Although I think it should be Jens doing the challenging and Gordon/Akinveev/Fabianski being challenged...
Jens has been a great servant to us, but is past it. He's had his final patch of form over the last 2 years that every aging keeper gets (for example Nigel Martyn) and it's time for Wenger to get a new solid long term replacement in there.

With Henry, Van Persie and Walcott injured we had no one else to play upfront.

Another toothless performance and 2 points thrown away. Really should have had the game dead and buried before Essien scored his equaliser, which set them up for 15 minutes when they started to become dangerous.
Adebayor should be our 4th choice striker next season. He has some redeeming qualities, but his finishing truly is dire. I thought he had a better game than Julio Baptista, though, who did absolutely nothing.
William Gallas continues to disappoint me. 3 great chances to score, but fair enough, he's not expected to score many goals so that's understandable, but his defending again was suspect at times, when he's capable of being far more solid.
It's a decent consolation to end their chances of a Premiership title, but the chances were there to end the season on a positive note, and again we've failed to take the opportunity.
Some important changes needed in the summer, me thinks.
If Arsene is into a tall, skilled, strong, with scoring ability and can speak French type of player then i'd suggest Kanoute.

To be honest, I like the look of this team. But the question is, will Reyes ever return? The likely answer is a big fat no. He hates London. Such a wasted talent Reyes is. He was a world-class talent imo. We all know what he can do on his day. He completely terrorised the entire Man United team a few years ago, was superb against Real Madrid, superb against Chelsea etc...

Good player, but I think he'd be a fool to leave La Liga. He's found his way out there, and should stay with Sevilla for as long as he can. I'm not sure he'd do so well with Arsenal. He's not a slouch, and he has style and technique aswell as strength and skill (like you point out), but I don't think he quite fits the bill for what we need. He wasn't exactly a revelation at either West Ham or Spurs.
We're linked with Ryan Babel again, despite him recently signing a new contract. I've been a fan of his since he broke into the Ajax team at the age of 17, and £6m isn't a bad price, but I hope this wouldn't stop us from signing Franck Ribery. All depends on if Wenger is thinking of using a 4-3-3 regularly, I guess, as Babel would be more suitable for that system.

hopefully we sell Adebayor in the summer or give him practice not to kick the floor when he shoots or scuff it any other way
We're about to extend his contract apparently...so...I think the latter is probably a good idea...
It's unfortunately that with all that training time...we still don't get set pieces right, nor shoot properly when in sight of goal.
Defensively, we are compeltely bonkers as well...Fabianski our newest supposed signing must be rubbing his hands with glee at all the chances he'll get to keep balls out of the net!!!
My money is on Reyes returning, and he'll suprise us in saying how much he loves Yorkshire pudding and the English sandwiches....
I assume that's the slanted expression of agreement.;)
Haha, actually it's the disagreeing, puzzled and dazzled at the same time smiley.
1/3 of Ribery is a very strong statement, I have seen both( of course, Babel more regularly) and they have some things in common. Both are incredibly fast and explosive, do not yet have the ball control( taking a long pass down for example) necessary, like to beat their man and both haven't proven themselves on a big stage, again, yet.
Ribery is a better dribbler, while Babel is more goal-orientated and has the better shot. That Ribery is better is debatable, but that Babel is only 1/3 and will ever be 1/3 of Ribery is not based on reality in my opinion.
I was knowingly exagerating on the 1/3rd of Ribery part, but Babel lacks the intelligence to ever be truly world class and as you said he has an awful first touch (Ribery's isn't amazing, but it's decent) and Ribery has a very likely possibility of becoming world class when he moves to a larger club imo. He's a far more complete and more intelligent player. I can't ever see Babel being anything more than a very useful player tbh.

Nasri has more about him than both.
What a player he could be.

Both play different roles. Nasri is a central midfielder, isn't he? Secondly, they both have different strengths and weaknesses. But Arsenal need a winger, not another creative central midfielder. Arsenal already have Fabregas, and you could also say Rosicky and Hleb, as they also are both creative players.
Ribery is exactly what Arsenal need. He has the potential to become world-class. Babel's first touch can be comparable to Adebayor's and isn't too consistent. Secondly, his work-rate is downright shocking. Ribery appears to be a real fighter to me and appears to be stronger despite being shorter. His body-strength appears to be pretty good. I'd say he would fit in our game instantly unlike Babel.

I think Arsenal need some English players and i'm not just saying that to be annoying, but if you look at Utd and Chelsea they both have English players who will really battle, where as Arsenal don't have any which is why i think they sometimes struggle in the league. Maybe they could get Barton :P

Do you believe none of these players have 'battle'? Please...
You do not need to be English to have battle. It's a myth.
Essien is from Ghana and seems appears to be a monster on the pitch. Is he English? No.
We've dominated Blackburn at Ewood park with 10 men, a midfield of Hleb Fabregas and Rosicky. Isn't that battle?
We beat Bolton 3-1 with Diaby and Denilson in midfield. Isn't that battle?
We're just too inconsistent at the moment and nationality has nothing to do with it. Barton is a cunt and is not better than Fabregas and Gilberto. Denilson and Diaby look like good prospects. Denilson was a class act against Spurs, with Diaby dominating the midfield against Chelsea in the Carling Cup final.

I think we've found our replacement for Arsene Wenger here, lads...
http://www.onlinegooner.com/exclusive/index.php?id=301
After just about managing to prevent Chavski from prolonging their own title agony on Sunday, I couldn’t help feeling frustrated once again. Chance after chance came and went and it was almost inevitable when they scored, let alone pushed forward for a winner. Story of our season.
There’s no doubt that with 10 or 11 men, the Chavs were more than a match for us and when those who say that only a couple of our players can reasonably expect to get in their 16, it pretty much says it all.
I see today that we’ve all but signed Polish number two goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski – and I hope he has a combination of Dudek’s penalty saving with the authority of a Cech.
I was disappointed when Jens signed another deal – when you think of the number of bookings he’s had, the number of times we’ve conceded when he flaps at a corner – it’s hard to conclude he’s not past his best.
So I thought to myself, if I were Arsene for just one day, with the power to get all my transfer business done in one swoop (as seemed to be the case last summer when Gallas, Baptista and Denilson all signed just before midnight on August 31), what would I do?
Let’s assume AW has been given £15 to bolster his squad.
If it’s true that Willie Gallas has fallen out with some of the younger members of the team and notwithstanding the fact that he has been indifferent much of the season, let’s take £12 from Real Madrid for him.
Big Phil, a liability much of the time, has an attitude problem which has stunted his opportunities this season (note Gilberto playing instead in March) so let’s get him out the door for £5m.
