DISCLAIMER- Although I am 99% sure it is safe to swap edit and uniform files (ie. they are seperate to the option file and contain no gamer achievements) there is still a tiny risk your console may be banned from xbox live when trading files with other users, so you download at your own risk.

memory card or hard drive?- if you leave this save on your memory card it will only 'show' 2 photo kits, if you transfer it to your hard drive it will show ALL 8 of the photo kits

the championship teams are done really well. well ive only used league 1 leeds but ive played against the others and the kits/boots/faces/stats are all great! with leeds you gotta be really patient in your build up.

either douglas was already on or smiths done a great job at making his face :) game must of been made before he got fat mind.

PS. don't delete your master league, try it first, my OLD master league save and all my cup competitions from my other hard drive work with the new edit file without deleting so u may want to experiment before deleting all your hardwork, just delete your uniform and edit files before updating

alright john! :) sadly douglas was already there :(...... but i think kandol and howson look alright. When i play with leeds i play counter attack football and play with the midfield quite deep and then through ball it to beckford to beat the offside trap, or long ball it to kandol to win in the air. basically slow in midfield and lightning in attack.... i get caught offside alot though :)

Not sure if it has been mentioned but if anyone finds this file appearing on e-bay then report the listing to e-bay. I am sure gjsmsmith and his colleagues have put in a lot of hours for the gaming community to enjoy the product and not for some scumbag to profit from.

to all of the above- 1. uninstall your datel software and download the xport software from code junkies. 2. I have uploaded the xport software to here for you- http://files.filefront.com/Setup+XPort+360zip/;9342183;/fileinfo.html
3. Follow the main thread page 1. instructions for xport and memory card (if u are using a memory card to transfer) to the letter.
4. These files definatley work 100%, if you still cant get them working its one of these 3 problems- a) you need to manually update your systems drivers for the card. b) You are using vista c) human error :)

all 8 scan kits and edit file will be on the card.... but if u use a memory card as your main save/load destination 'in-game' though it only shows 2 scan kits 'within' the game (dont know why, arsenal home and manu home i think) BUT if u then transfer these files to a hard drive and use this as your in-game save/load destination it shows ALL 8, as it should.

You need to get a Memory Card with a connector to the PC or one of the solutions that connect your 360 HDD to the PC.

I have the first one on that list, it hooks my Memory card from the 360 to my PC.

These are the only ways to get the option file across, you CANNOT use USB nor can you just send it through your network etc. :)

i do believe we will be doing an update after the transfer window..... leading up to xmas we were suppossed to be adding loads of championship teams too.... but i was too lazy :) well, work got hectic to tell the truth.
Anyway, there will be a new update with the transfers and also 'hopefully' one of us is going to do all the correct starting line-ups too.

£30 for xsata or £10 for 'xpoder cheat saves' and the cost of a memory card..... best way is to 'ebay' the xploder or xsata device, thats what i did for the adapter i used to transfer the files :)

this is edit.bin and uniform.bin files ONLY. these are the only files you need to update your edits.
As for if microsoft bans them- it depends how 'petty' microsoft are feeling, as transfering edits doesnt break their 'option file/achievement/points rule, but they can do what they want at the end of the day. If you want to be doubly safe, download the files, install them and then before you go online make one of your own adjustments and save it to lose any previous console signatures.

Bought an Xport 360 to transfer gjsmsmith option file version 2 and i've had no end of problems!!

first of all i'm using an acer aspire 3610 running xp home to transfer the file from the pc to the 360 hard drive. When it decides to work (which is not very often, cos the xport 360 program keeps freezing and not responding!!), i manage to transfer all the .bin files to the folder where the pes 2008 option file (76kb) is located.

when i then connect my 360 hard drive to the console and check that the files have transferred, all the files that I have transferred are "corrupted".

been trying to get this working all day and it's doing my nut in!! any help or advice would be much appreciated

1st) make sure u extract and use the bin files, not the GSX files.
2nd) ALL problems we have had so far are 100% always only 1 of 2 things. user error or a PC drivers issue. This sound like you may have a drivers issue. Manually install the drivers that came on the disk again, and if this still keeps happening, let windows choose and download the drivers over the net.

thanks for your reply, i too think it's a driver problem because windows still thinks it's a usb mass storage device. i have tried to update the driver manually using the xport 360.inf file, but it then says that the specified location does not contain any information about your hardware??.......... i don't know what else to do!!

tried doing what you said mate but still my laptop decides when the xport will work!! haha........ managed to transfer the files over to my hard drive again but this time all the files were corrupt again except one!! so i'm getting there. It is recognised on the xbox as uniform file 7 but when i connect it the hard drive up to the xport docking station and the pc it is recognised as uniform_08.bin??........

so confused??

Hi GJSMSMITH,

Your file looks great, but i am having problems getting it on my 360 and wondered if you could help.

1. I have the xsata and have fitted it to the 360 no probs, the xbox reads the HD as normal.

2. Then i connect the xsata to the laptop and open the xplorer360 software.

3. I then go to 'drive', open memory card/Hard drive, at which point i get the error message "Cannot find the FATX drive".

Do you know what the problem is, and a possible sollution.

nah not happening, everytime i manage to transfer the files to my 360 hard drive they are showing as corrupt when i view the files on my 360!

emailed codejunkies.com to which i have had no response, don't know what it can be! At the moment i have the pes2008 option file and the uniform 7 file on my 360 hard drive that are recognised!

ps. unfortunatley VISTA SUX!!!!!! i have found SO many vista problems with my new laptop i have installed a 'sata/raid driver modded' dual boot copy of XP, just so i can use my my laptop to the full extent it should be used to!!!
if u have an old copy of XP i recommend u install it on another partition untill general vista compatibility issues are resolved. :(

Finally got it working.. I think anyway.. I have a question about the edit files, all the new players that are created, I cant find them in the edit mode.. only K.Jones in the first group and then the players from the Champinship?

the 84 is including the championship players :)

simple my xport 360 is not working efficiently!! sometimes it allows me to transfer files and most of the time the software is tempramental whether you can explore the hard drive!! could it be to do with the fact that i have standard usb ports and not usb 2.0?? when i do transfer the files the show as corrupted on the hard drive!!...... sorry if i'm boring anyone but it's so annoying

The way I got my shit to work is by creating a backup image of my hdd in xport360, then open the image in xplorer360 and there I could move files any way I wanted. After inserting the edit and uniform files I restored the image with xport360 on my hdd.. Quite inefficient and timeconsuming but that was how I got it to work..

I've tried renaming files and stuff on the memory card but when i copy them over it doesn't recognise!! Is there anyway you could create this for me pls or tell me how i can do it myself???

Any1 who has vista dont bother using xport 360 because it wont recognise the the software, from my experience anyway.It asks to update the drivers. I had problems with it on my laptop for a week so then i decided to try XP on a different computer and it sees the software straght away and i now have the option file working.You dont need a memory card either as it goes staright from the pc to hard drive.
Just thought i would share it with anyone who might have the same probs i had.The option file is quality by the way and a big thanks has to go to GJSMSMITH

option file works on any PC.... its justa zipped folder. its your transfering software (xploder, xport etc....) that will have problems with vista.

I was thinking, about the 8 photo kits. Would it be possible to add more if we looked at getting rid of some of the other crappy players that have been photoed on the game originally, like some of the shitty teams, maybe that would free up some room for more photo allowance?

If you get what im saying.

I believe you can only take 8 photos total and all are allocated to the team kits.

What i would like to see is something along the lines of making photo kits for all the teams and uploading them somewhere so that we could then mix and match which ones we wanted in our game.

I,e I could download the Derby kit and then rename it a certain way "uniform_1.bin" or whatever then stick that on my card, however I'm not sure wether this would work in reality or wether there is data in uniform file #4 that requires it to be named #4 to work. :/

it would only work if people knew how to hex edit the uniform file numbers, cause renaming them doesnt do jack, they need to be 'internally' renamed/renumbered to stop each new kit conflicting with kits of the same slot number that u wish to keep. (ie. if manU is slot 4 and u download a derby kit also numbered for slot 4 u will be stuck if u want to keep manU for instance) Basically its hex edit or create each photo kit 8 times from scratch for each slot position!!!!!! :(

couple weeks till the next one is ready, all the major january transfers are done on V3 so far, i have only left out some minor loan moves (ie. short term ones that arent going to end up permanent)I have created lots of new players (using the fm2008 verter) such as E. Villa, Palacios, zarate, prica, Andreasen, david murphy, M.king, elding, kilkenny, bradley johnson, sweeney..........
and i believe Axel will create the wolverhampton players.

this isnt a patch m8, patches get burnt on the DVD and only work on modded xboxes. This is an edit file and uniform files (which people usually call an option file.. but it really isnt one of them either to be honest :) )
dunno when it will be ready, guess maybe a couple weeks at the most..... I expect it wont take that long though.

Nice GJS, true Legend for all us PES guys. It really turns the game into a more compete game. Its just not the same without these OF. Even though there limited to a degree on the Next Gen systems. Its beetter than nothing.

Thanks again for you hard work, and the other guys whove chipped in also.
