I was in the apple shop yesterday and they have a table set out with the I-phone, i had a wee shot ot one and loved it.

The touch screen is amazing, the camera is amazing, the sound is amazing the phone is generally amazing

It even has a short cut to youtube :D

The handset itself cost £279 so hopefully it will go down in price soon

Anyone else used one?

I've used one, its nice, but id rather spend half that, get an apple ipod video and just keep my normal phone which can check email.

it's a brilliant idea and fun to use but i fear the novelty would wear off quick

Nah, I was saying I'll probably get one.

Aye but thats because you're a bandwaggoner. ;)

I personally think the I-Phone is shite and I'd never waste my money on it.

I think I've found an unlocked one for £299. Pre-owned though.

I'm meeting with her to give it a good check up.

My biggest problem with it is that you can't surf the internet unless you're within wireless network range. It doesn't allow you to browse using any built-in technology of it's own!

thats what I thought. I know this guy who has one (never puts the fookin thing down) it's nice with the touch screen etc. but he couldn't connect to the internet and that's what I'm most interested in.

I've got an iPod touch which I guess is very similar but without the phone, the touch screen is a bit special, nice bit of kit but only worth spending the money on if you travel a lot (like me to go back home and get to work) to make the most of the features.

Not that it has anything to do with the phone, I wouldnt pay through the nose for a mobile phone month after month, especially when the latest model with added features could be 2 weeks away.

The iPhone is a very easy to use phone. Playing, YES playing with it, for a less than ten minutes is enough for you to get the 'grip' of it! I'd say wait for the next version of it, it's said that it will have 3g,etc.
