PS2 Option File For PS3 *Here* (.PSV Format)

Hi, i don't know if this is already out there. But here is an option file for the PS3 for the PS2 version of the game. This Includes:

All Premiership Kits
All Premiership Emblems
All Names Changed From Capitols
All League Names Changed

+ Much More.

This has been wanted by many people, so here it is.

how does this work?

Create a folder structure on a USB device like this:

PS3>EXPORT>PSV

Place the file in this folder and insert into PS3, copy this file to your virtual memory card, as you can see it is a regular PS2 option file for the PS3, with everything updated.

Most of the national kits are already licensed. Ive done all the rest, all england league teams with correct emblems and updated stats and formations. Updated league names and stadium names.

How do i get my downloaded file to work because it isn't a specific file when i download it. it just a file?

I dont know what game store you went to but the guy that told you this doesnt know sh.t, you can play the pes 2008 (ps2) on the ps3 no problem at all and this option file works just fine with it mate.

is this definetely pes2008 PS2 version option file or can it still be applied to pro evo 6 last years game.

also the pes2008 ps2 version is it exaclty the same as last years game apart from world tour mode. are the game mechanics the same etc ??

I have the 60gb PS3, plays for sure, but has similar problems to PES6 when played on the PS3. Minor slowdown for first 10 mins of in game time, then it settles down.

cheers chebs, thanks for letting me know...at the mo ive got pro evo 6 ps2 running on ps3. so do u think its really worth the upgrade ? ...any differences on-line ? any additions or subtractions ? ....u noticed any real improvements in graphics or gameplay mechanics for pes2008 ps2.
is it faster or normal pace like pes6 ps2.

yes the united shirt has the white line on the back, the gameplay is better , requires more tactics to win with the addition of the new Team Vision. Diving has been removed from the PS2 version (Thank God). As for graphics virtually, the same. I would say its a bit slower than PES6, but in a good way. New game modes, including world tour, justify the upgrade, plus you can get it for very cheap now.

chebs what a guy !, uve just convinced me to get it. u didnt mention the on-line is it same modes as pes 6 PS2 and...is there any lag on there ?? etc....is it busy with gamers ?

hey chebs got ur option file up and running on pes2008-PS2, its very good overall.

so far on-line played 2 matches and the other players got disconnected. and the ball moves allover the screen.


A1 is alot stronger on ps2. I asume they definetely have the A1teamvision on this version.

It can play PS2 games unless your unlucky enough to have the 40gig version which wont play them at all. :-(

this worked for me 100% nice one m8 , evry one this is how you do it like the man said , usb stick or memory card . on the memory card or usb stick make a folder called .PS3 then in the ps3 folder you make a folder called EXPORT and in the EXPORT folder you make a folder called PSV and in the psv folder you put your option file then its done , but befour you try and put it on your ps3 make sure you have made a ps2 option file then plug the memory stick in to your ps3 then go to memory card utility (ps/ps2) click on it in side you will see your usb stick or memory card click on it then you will see your ps2 option file click on it and copy it to your ps3 .:) all done
