I don’t know which would be a better investment a playstation 3 or updating my pc for the same cost as a playstation 3.
I know a Pc Better than the Ps3 can be built but is it really worth all the money it would cost.
Any comments welcome
If you live in Europe/America go for the PS3 or X360 since you'll have to upgrade your computer after 2-3 years anyway while the PS3 will last 4+ years.
That's what I think anyway.
All depends really. I for one have never been a huge pc gamer because I enjoy playing games from the comfort of my sofa and on a bigger screen and lets face it games are usually more user friendly on consoles then on pcs (For noobs like me anyway). Also what games do you enjoy playing? Although most games are out on all 3 (xbox, ps3 and pc) you may like the odd exclusive title.
Remember the PS3 isn't just a gaming console it has a hell of a lot to offer and you can pretty much use like a pc if you install Linux as an OS.
I'd go for PS3.
You don't need to buy a new graphic card which the price is almost or nearly the same as a PS3.
PS3. Like Mig said, comfort is the key to enjoyable gaming.

There are a few good PC games like Crysis but the constant upgrading to get good graphics is stupid. There seem to be better games coming out for the PS3 than PC too, so I'd get a PS3.

Think of it this way, when you invite your friends over would you not want to be able to play a multiplayer game of PES or something around a TV than squashed around a compter screen?

You can hook most PCs to a large LCDs if you have the right cables.

Which is a shockingly little known fact. PCs were using massive TVs before consoles were, albeit for design purposes within the artistic workplace initially.
I guess unless you're fairly into PC gaming you should probably go for the PS3. Most people who update their PCs are usually quite passionate about it, but if you're not too bothered might as well go for a console. PCs can be a lot of effort and it comes down to your preference whether it's worth it or not. Personally, I find the effort to be justified :)
