Sony

i was thinking of getting one of these but i dont really want to spend £500 but i will if i dont find a better one.
Isn't there a Sony Bravia campaign with a free ps3 or is that only in Holland.
You might want to wait for Original, if he can be bothered.

While you might be able to find it marginally cheaper elsewhere, Amazon's service is exemplary. Great TV, you won't find one better.

The LG is a cheaper option, but the Samsung is still the better option, the Samsung just can't be beaten.
Samsung, no question. Got 32" a few months ago from Argos on special offer, including free 3 year warranty & never looked back.

sorry for the double post but im not going to make a new thread for the same topic ;)
right the thing is i cant be arsed to wait another month to buy a hdtv so i might just resort to a smaller screen size. and i think 22" is just fine for my bedroom.
this are just some i was looking at.
please if some that knows alot more than me about HDTVs could help me ill be grateful.

The customer reviews suggest that the Sony is a damn good TV.

Nice. I'd love to go for that, but I won't be able to fit it in my room. :(

Trouble is that it's the 40GB PS3 and the TV is over-priced in the first place, so it ought to be on a good deal, then the five year warranty is nice but hardly essential.
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Samsung-LE40R87-Widescreen-Ready-Freeview/dp/B000O12E7W/ref=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1198875003&sr=1-8 - £619.99
Then add a 60GB PS3 for around £350... it would have to be an absolutely exceptional offer to buy a Sony HDTV, unfortunately that's not one.

I got an LG 42 plasma, its damn good I've had it for almost 2 years so its pretty outdated... but its still woring its not full hd, only does 1080i however nobody in north america transmits in 1080p at least not until feb 09... I can't complain except that I only have one HDMI port... and now most TV's come with at least three... plus,LG sponsors my team... so I felt as if I bought some gloves for my keeper or something

I gotta Samsung 42" can't complain about much - I've heard better sound quality from Sony's but as for style and picture quality it's excellent

Sony's are always excellent too, the main thing I've been impressed with by them is the sound which is awesome
I have got a philips matchline tv 32" with wireless rear speakers.
So no lcd or plasma, what can I say: the picture is almost to good because I see things you don't wanna see:huh: .
Twintuner, pixelplus, splitscree n and loads of stuff, but 4 years old and very outdated but I love it.
A good screen make you like your games better too.:D

Did I read that correctly? £56,100? I looked around the page a few times to see if there was another price, but that's it! I guess a 103" TV will not be coming my way any time soon.

Haha epic.
I've got a 42" LG HDTV in my lounge. It's amazing. Sound, picture, everything. I've got my Xbox 360 hooked up until I buy that 32" Samsung that's been banded about in this thread for my room.
