yes its near time to start the league, so it is time to pick the starting 11. fristly i belive that the 4-4-2 dimaon has been the most use/ sucessful formation, so i will use that. secondly, the player to play in there posions, this is where you come in. below is the postions and a number, all you have to do is post the number with teh player you think is best for that postion, plz not this is just the starting 11, i will hopefull play ALL player, but as a means of having one, where having this thread ok?

Won't it depend a lot on form if we have 20-odd players? Anyway here's mine (Bearing in mind I haven't tested myself so going with stats and from what I've read in team testing):

2. GFK (LB) [Have we got any left-footed defenders?]
3. Hitman (CB)
4. Bluescouse (CB)
5. Mick03 (RB)
6. Mambo (DMF) [Change w/ Mick, whoevers more effective there]

i like to do that, but it deends on how the league will actuly be

Well it's easier than telling people not to vote for themselves and then having to tell them again because they did it anyway...
I'm not voting as (a) I haven't got the team on my PS2 yet, and (b) I haven't got the team on my PS2 yet.
I'd like to be in the team, but I can't really expect to be as I only just signed up yesterday, and so my name isn't in any of the testing forums. ;)
Badger and Haz-e up-front, with Zygalski in the hole. Giggsy in goal. That's all the ones I can realistically say.

I missed out a lot of people.
I only put Badgerman, Zygalski, Giggsy and Haz-e up-front as they're the ones I've noticed have been successful.
Contrary to most people, I missed myself out, too. Woohoo. Let's all get over-excited. You'll probably end up playing as much as most people.
Anyway, I don't endorse full-backs. The reason I don't is the chain of being*. Here it is:
God > Jesus > Moses > Moses' Snake-Stick > Regular People > Animals > Satan > Full-Backs

Well, considering I'm a sweeper, three CB's would be quite nice. No room for a sweeper in a flat-back-four.
Anyway, my hate for full-backs dates back to Championship Manager 00-01. Full-backs are like, errr, rocket launchers. You don't need them unless you're, errr, a worm?

I'll ignore the last comment. I wasn't aware it was that important to be in th estarting line-up when it'll change every game according to form anyway. As said by someone else it'll all average out and it saves people voting when they shouldn't for themselves. So just submit your team and stick yourself in ;)
