Ipod classic help

Hello there ;)

I have an 80gb ipod classic and it is not turning on. I have tried to connect it to my computer to charge but there is still no response on the ipod.

Any help would be much appreciated :D

I presume you've left it 'charging' for some time before attempting to switch it on? If not give it some time, a few minutes should suffice. Otherwise it sounds like the battery is done for, if it's outside the manufacturer's warranty as I expect it is there's little you can do besides not purchasing an iPod in future.

i left it on charge basicly all day yesterday and it was working abut 3 hours ago. Just not working now. Any more info mate ;)

It needs re-setting.You may lose your songs, you may not.

Basically flick the hold switch on and off then press the "menu" and "centre" buttons simultaneously for 6-10 seconds.
