The one you get free is tiny. I suggest you spend around £10 on a long ethernet cable

It's like 6 or 8 feet long, as youre asking about this, you're concerned about your X360 being placed away from your router, so, like Sully says you should get a longer one,

Hard wiring is better then wireless in my opinion
