I need to pick myself up a flatscreen HD TV for my room and need some reccomendations, nothing too big and pricy around 20 - 22" would be fine.

I need a 26" TV. What are the criteria for a decent TV? Contrast ratio, etc?

10 000;1 is good as far as contrast.... but really like on a screen that small you really can't go wrong

Are these 2 teles any different?
19" (http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/5293245/Trail/searchtext%3ESAMSUNG.htm)
20"
There both the same price however in the Argos catalogue the 20" is £29.99 dearer than the 19" and on the description for the 20" it doesn't say HD ready like the 19 however on the product detail list it specifically says it's high definition ready.

What I don't get is why there both the same price when in the catalogue I've got it's an extra £30 for the 20"

I got the 20" for £200 from Argos today. Must say that Samsung make cracking HD TV's.
Anyone know if this is would be a wise purchase?

Certainly, it's a decent price as well. I have the predecessor to that model and my parents have the 40" version of the same model both of which are stunning. You can't go wrong.

Like Original? I have the forerunner & am more than satisfied the the image quality. The blacks are pretty good and certainly some of the best for the price bracket.
Cheers lads. The price is what attracted me the most and I think I'll most certainly be buying it now.
I think I'll purchase these two at the end of the month.
