I'm kinda lost in how negotations work. I go into acquireing guy that I'd like then when negotiation time comes around I add them to my negotiation list. I assume the COM takes care of the negotiations I'm not sure.
After my season I have just moved into division 1 from division 2 and aquired a little over 16000 points. What kind of players should I go after and how many should I go after. Also what can gurantee my negotiations will work?

No guarantee that they will work, kinda depends on your Division and your place in that Division.
The negotiation list is just like 'players to watch ' list for yourself...think of it as a notepad.
from there you can make an off, compare them, etc.
then you go to negot. screen and change the offer/revoke it/etc.
I spent a ton of points after my D2 season, upgrade my team a ton! To a point where it was on same/better level as ManU for the first game of D1!
Your salary will go down because of more games too.
I think I had 600 something at the end of D2
Beginning of D1 I had 450 something per game in salary to be paid.

so what kinds of things should I look or change so I have better success at since I have acquired a little over 16000 points? My team is pretty bad, I won a few and with MANY draws.
Should I do transfers for the first thing to do or loans or trading? I also saw some values to change such as salary and etc so im not entirely sure on this area on what to do esp since I have 16000 points heh.

well make sure you consider offers for your people, sometimes they are worth taking.
things that increase transfers are increasing the transfer points by a decent amount, raising the salary over what they want
even then they still might not want to play for your team, it gets easier the more you win and the higher your ranking
look for players that fill the holes of your team, dont go for superstars right off the bat, that wont get you anywhere
i cant remember who it was last night but i offered some team 12000 for a player and was going to pay them like 950 or something a year and it was still declined!

I got a bout 3 good guys, one of them being frederich. Who has good stats. There are about 2-3 I'd like to release this coming negotiations so I can hopefully get another player if I have enough points. I let some guys go at first which gained me some points for agreeing to other teams proposals but I also gained a couple of stars as well. You sure can't get great guys overnight.

i only realease the really cheap guys i know wont get picked up, otherwise i'll let them get picked off my team by offers from other teams or use them as leverage in trades.
on a side note, in season 2, div 1, during the second neg. round i had some 44k in points to spend.
so i wanted to beef up my midfield some and a little defense so i went and got...
Vieira, W. Samuel and Roy Keane!
All offers went through on the first try!
Only cost 42k in transfer points ;)

I Just wish I can figure out how to score more points. Hell im on two stars and it's pretty darn competitive so I guess I'll just have to be saving my money and then get the good guys eh and just release the really bad players.
New question. Should I wait till season 2 neg to get the good guys since im in season 1 now?
how many points do you have?

well im currently in week 11 season 1 division 1 and I have 20k points.
I have signed howard, Giggs, Kaka, Emre (Sold to B'Burn) Saha, Henry Camara and RVN. In division one on 4*, won 9 lost 1 so far. If you have pacey wingers with a quite pacey strikers, you should be ok.

if you are doing well save your points for free agents and off season trades!

I'm not that great at PES hence my 2* lol. But I get pretty good games. I just wish the game repsonded a bit faster to the c ontrols. Seems like there is a few seconds delay at least on the PC. I think the big problem is that I don't hve very good attackers, THeir not very accurate in their kicks so I think that is what I'd like to go after 1st.

yep, go for the players that suit how you play the game first.
like you said you seem to want some attackers
i highly recommend getting piliniak from the growth team and playing him until hes a star player, definately worth it.
i tend to build my teams
midfield
defense
offense
dunno why, dont really plan it either, just kinda ends up that way
gl and yeah, im still getting used to the PC too, if i play on 2* i win everytime and dont loose, i might draw occasionally with a loss here and there on 3*.
