**OTHER PATCH PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS**
We have experienced compatibility problems with the new Konami Update 1.20.
If you've installed the newest update 1.20 you can open your pes2008 folder and delete the files pdata.img and pinfo.img to solve the prob.
- plz copy the Optionfile (folder "OF) to your windows folder called
...\My Documents\KONAMI\Pro Evolution Soccer 2008\save
In some cases you have to start the game and load the new OF manually after that (Konami Bug)
!If you are using other versions than german plz extract "Pes08_BuLiPatch_language_fix.r ar" and copy the "rv_x" file that fits for your language to the "rv_g"
folder of the patch before applying it. You will be asked to overwrite the unnamed_1.bin, plz do so.
As we have collected new player-sounds for the german version you may experince wrong names for german national players, i'm still looking for people who could
help me, do the sounds in other languages too. Its very easy, if you'd like to help just write in your evo-web thread.
**INSTALATION INSTRUCTIONS**
- to install the new bin-files plz use the included AFS Explorer:
1) Open 'cv_0.img' in AFS Explorer (If it asks to rebuild click no -it will say it is corrupt, but click open anyway)
2) >Action >Import Folder (select the bin folder included)
3) "One or more files need more space than they have reserved. You need to rebuild the AFS file to insert them. Do you want to rebuild the AFS file" >Click Yes
4) Change 'Save as type' from 'AFS file' to 'all files' Choose new name eg 'cv_0new.img'
5) Wait for it to rebuild
6) "AFS regenerated successfully! Now files will be updated" >click OK
7) Importing files box appears, followed by confirmation of importing completion.
8) "Do you wish to open the new file?" (or similar message) >Click Yes
9) Wait for it to load then close AFS Explorer.
10) Go to you Konami/pes2008/img folder and move your original 'cv_0.img' somewhere safe.
11) Rename your 'cv_0new.img' to 'cv_0.img'
12) Repeat steps 1) to 11) with other .img files e.g. rv_g.img. Note: you can import the rv_g files over rv_e (or whatever) aswell, but you probably won't want
to import the german sounds located in rs_g.img.
