Will they be added to the World Cup 2010 qualifiers, or will they have to wait till the Euro 2012 qualifying draw? Always nice to see a shit new country enter the fray.

Montenegro are a good example of how long it takes albeit this is four months earlier in the cycle.

A shame, they should have tacked them on to Serbia's group for a laugh. Special stipulation that if Kosovo won, Serbia would recognize their independence, but if they lost, they are restored to Serbian rule. Play it over two legs, on neutral territories - Bosnia and Croatia seem fair. Much violence would ensue, and hilarity prevail.

Surely I can't be the only one who can see that secession has little advantage over their current situation? Belgrade won't be happy, neither will Moscow...and in the long term they won't be too happy with it I think.

So will they join Albania in the near future?

Well there's a Basque and a Catalan football team, but they don't have independence from Spain.

They should be put in our group because we only have 5.

I know we don't get an advantage or disadvantage from it but it would be nice to hump a shit team.

Yeah but they don't give a shit about the consequences, all they care about is being independent. They'll probably just leave the majority of the members of the UN to sort out Serbia and Russia, as long as they've got their freedom that's all that matters. Selfish cunts.

So will they join Albania in the near future?

I imagine the Serbs living there will be thrilled about that.
