my question.. I have the data migration kit which allows me to transfer all info from 20gb 360 to the 120gb Elite HD..

It uses usb and connects directly to hy Xbox HD.. is there anyway I could use this instead of the xplorer/ mem card technique

No I have the Xplorer/ Xploder (I dont even know the name) to use with my memory card.. I havent got my memory card at the moment..

I also have the hard drive data migration kit that I used when I got my elite..

It connects the 360 HD to my pc via USB but my PC dosent detect the device properly..

If I can find a way to connect my HD directly to my PC to transfer the files then I will be laughing..

Ok mate, just done a bit of research and I don't think it can be done. According to here (http://www.xbox.com/en-US/support/systemuse/xbox360/console/datamigration.htm) anyway.

# The Xbox 360 Hard Drive transfer cable is not a PC accessory. It is intended only for connecting the Xbox 360 20GB or Xbox 360 120GB Hard Drive to an Xbox 360 console for data transfer. Damage to your PC or other USB device could occur if you connect the transfer cable to such devices. The cable functions only when used with the supplied transfer software.

On a real note though..

when I connect the device.. the drive starts spinning but windows XP or Vista just cant detect a drive..

I was hoping the xploader software would help the drive get detected but I havent tested fully yet..

If it is called winning eleven, then no, as the file names will be different.
It 'should' at a guess work on any other region/version as long as it is called pes2008.

I've been a regular on the old version from xbox

I've got a 360 now and an exploder.

I've followed the instructions to a T. However, on my harddrive memory, the files that my xbox creates have the game name "PES (US)" and the files that I get from the zip files are "PES 2008"

Even though they have the same name are the 2 version different? Do all the file names need to read "PES (US)"? And lastly, can the files be converted to read the (US) version?


Any info would be greatly appreciated. I've waited patiently for this for forever and it would suck so bad if that is the case.

It seems that the files aren't being recognized when I launch in. If you figure anything out, please let me know and I will do the same.

Does anybody have a link to a guide for editing the national and England League kits? I checked on pesfan but couldn't find any guide. I might be starting an OF for the 360 version since it seems that it won't be possible to convert the European file.
