lol that's all people ever ask me lol, glad you liked it man. Basically when you're at that angle, aim it specifically where you want (in this case top corner) but hold the analog stick more up than to the right, then just before you make contact with the ball with your foot put the analog stick furthest right and it just curls. It's all about timing, practice and patience. I scored the same goal from the same position with Rooney in my compilation but this one was better as it was a half volley and not straight off the ground, really hard but just keep practicing and you'll get it.

When ever i try and curl it the ball just seems to just shoot straight but in the direction i wanted it to curl. Not going to great atm but i WILL master this :P

lol seriously dude it takes a while, it's just about timing. Remember to look at where the players foot is and where the ball is because the split second before they make contact is when you apply the max curl. Peace.

Yeah man just checked out your compilation, some nice goals but seriously try and recreate my goal with full power...I've only scored this type of goal twice but on a half volley I found it harder than from off the ground as I did with Rooney.

Oh yeah decent goal, but IMO there are more skillful goals already posted, which is why I didn't enter mine like this.

TBH there are one or two better goals in your compilation you could enter.

Cheers man but seriously, you have no idea how skilful it is to get this in on a half volley...as you say in your opinion I have "better" ones in my compilations but take it from me, this one is the best - it's so hard to hit it this sweet. 1 in a hundred shot could hit it like this.

Sure it's difficult to hit on the half-volley but apart from that it's one button press. The hit itself is good timing, but I don't see a lot else.

Long range shots on 08 are easy, and if you try enough they'll go in quite often.

What ones were you thinking of?

The more skillful goals IMO are ones involving more than a button press, be it precise quick teamwork or lots of individual skill, before a good finish.

Yeah I see what you're saying, the amount of long rangers I've scored on 08 is crazy but from a half volley, with outside curl into the top corner it's one of the hardest shots I've done and I've scored every type of goal, teamwork, volleys, robanas, back-heels and seriously this was the hardest and most skilful goal I've scored. I guess the comments here and on youtube speak for themselves especially when more then one person has exclaimed "holy crap" lol.

Watch it again and check the curl, I had to shoot with up/left and then time it perfect and tilt the analog stick up/right at the right second to get the curl, if it was a straight shot like my Gudjohnson shot then fair enough but just read the comments, it's really difficult. Go attempt it with outside curl in training with full power from that angle and then you'll know how hard it is as I don't think you've seen the shot properly, oh and this was the games original speed...it flew in that hard.

Anyways guess I can't impress everyone, peace dude.

Maybe if you actually open your eyes you'd see that the split second before I strike the ball the defender goes in to attempt to block it, what you think Jolean Lescott is gonna be able to outrun Ronaldo? Use some logic before you talk as there's a reason why the judges have shortlisted me for GOTM.
