View Full Version : Help Me Choose a New Phone
Gents, I'm in the market for a new phone as mine is fucked but am struggling to choose what one. Decided on a contract and was looking for the K850i but my cousin who works in a phone shop says they aren't too great and they get a lot of complaints about them.
He's told me of a few special deals he can get me, for example the Samsung G600 with either 500mins and unlimited texts or 750mins and 250 texts both for £25.
It's a good deal that but I'm not personally to fond of the G600. Any suggestions as to which phones I should look at
Well ive got a Samsung G800, thats done the trick for me, but i do like the look of me bro's Sony-Erricson...not sure which one it is, i know Sweet FA about phones tbh but that is my 2 pence on the topic.
The G800 is a great phone and the K850 is brilliant and has a brilliant camera. The Nokia N95 has 8GB of internal memory (not good news for the battery) and a camera as good as that in the K850 if not better.
I wouldn't really go for the N95 unless you're going to use most of its features.

What was your previous phone? Some people find it easier to stick to the same make as the previous phone to save hassle on learning menu navigation.
People seem to like the LG phone but I thought it was fiddly & just a cheaper version of the iPhone.

Depends what type your after.
One for the music, camera etc....
I have the sony ericsson w850i, bit old but is class phone and love it.
Would recommend that like.
Aslong as it rings and texts I'm fine. It's just that if I'm getting a contract I may aswell get the best available to me.
I have a K800i, bought it around christmas. All the shops said it was the best phone value for money. Does everything I want it to, and has a fantastic camera, which outdoes 5MP cameras, even though it is only a 3.2MP camera. Plus its fairly cheap, around £100.
I've decided it's either the LG Viewty or the new Samsung u900 soul.
Will be ordering it tonight
