Just curious.
DVD is just fine at the minute. Most of the films I watch are either at the cinema or acquired totally legally online. I haven't watched a DVD in ages so there's certainly no point in me getting a BluRay.
I never watch films on HD disc.
DVD is fine with me.
DVD. I either go to the cinema, buy a DVD or just acquire it over the net.
Like many my Blu-Ray player is also a handy games console.
I've got a few Blu-Ray films which I got on the cheap. Spiderman Trilogy, Terminator 2 and Casino Royal. They look sexy on 42 inch HD tele.
I wouldn't pay full price for a Blu-Ray disc.

Considering the fact that DVDs offer a perfectly good quality of sound and picture, not to mention the fact that I've spent a fair amount of time and money acquiring my collection, I see no point whatsoever in upgrading to a new HD/BluRay system.
I'm taking advantage at the moment of the HD crash, some class films for class prices on that format.

Got a Blu-Ray player (PS3) but I'll stick with DVDs. The PS3 upscales them anyway, so they look great.
I'm sticking with DVD at the moment.
I've got lots of DVD hardware in the house now all ranging from my PC/Laptop DVD ReWriters to my set-top DVD Recorder (which has a built-in Upscaling DVD Player by the way).
I'll get a Blu-Ray Writer for my PC though in a few years when they're nice and cheap (less than £75) mainly for making Data backups of my Hard Drive. Along with a PS3 when the price goes down to less than £250.
But other than that, I'm sticking with DVD for my Video projects for the foreseeable future.
My Blu-Ray player is through my PS3. But for movies, I stick with DVD. I only have 1 Blu-Ray movie anyway. The rest of my collection are DVD's.
Original?

PS3, which upscales my DVDs, I may in the future upgrade to Blu-ray but only for my favourite films that would actually benefit from it.

Exactly the same for me
