Looks like a swim-suit! It's a shame it's only David James wearing it next season, otherwise we could have had diving puns galore.

Bravoboy
30-07-2008, 16:07
Yeah man I hope so, I can't imagine it'll last quite as long as Skint anyway, so if I don't get used to it - it won't matter much as we'll probably have a new sponsor the season after!

The company is ITFirst, and the logo is supposed to read out "1ST", if you look carefully. Clever idea, but still looks a bit rubbish.

ahahahhaha..i read somewhere that they are still in ngeotiations with several companies...and the decision could be fan polled...or somethin like that, then if you buy the kit before the new sponsor you will get the sponsor printed for free. Nice to see a club look out for its fans like that...then again theyre not expecting the same volumes of shirt sales ala top4 clubs.

As for the away kit, I prefer this design, made by stemcg1983, of PESFan.

Some of the kits that leaked last year turned out to be the real deal, so there's a chance that some of these kits aren't fakes.

Because it's a fake shirt?

You tend to see tens of different shirts flying around claiming to be the "new" one at this time of year.

I think it'd be better to start paying attention to the ones appearing in a couple of months, not now.

I don't really like the newcastle shirt, maybe its the big white gap at the back where the number and name goes :/

But I suppose thats what you have to deal with when you have a striped shirt.

It would look better with a collar with V instead of the closed circle.

If it is, then wouldn't it be fitting if it was used for the Cup Final. Like what Chelsea did in the CL final last year.

Wigan and Bolton have the same sponsor? Is that even allowed?

Why wouldn't it be? Rangers and Celtic had the same. Also there are many Flybe ones about.

I've seen it happen in other leagues but I didn't know if it was allowed in the premiership.

Not too keen on that away kit, Ill still be buying both, but the home one is quality.

Messi on the home, Iniesta on the away

Yeah me too mate. I think the multiple traditional stripes look better than just one half red and red half blue like they've worn this year.

The colour of the away shirt looks pretty shit if you ask me.

Don't know if this has been posted before but this is off footballshirtculture.com:

09/10 kits launch dates:

May 14th Newcastle United Home 09/11

May 14th Chelsea Home 09/11

May 14th Blackburn Rovers Away 09/10

May 20th Sunderland Home 09/10

May 23rd Barcelona Home 09/10

May 25th Wigan Athletic Home 09/10

Those are the only ones I have seen before, granting of course the above Barcelona ones are officials, and here is what I think

Newcastle's home shirt is strangely white, usually the main colour seems to be black and when i watched MOTD yesterday it looked weird, however the keeper kit is lovely, I really like that blue.
https://shop.nufc.co.uk/images/theclubshop_nufc/ad5.jpg

Chelsea's home shirt is awful, how do they manage to make a plain blue football shirt look like that, what the hell are those huge square things all about. As with Newcastle though the Keeper shirt is absolutely brilliant.

Blackburn Rovers away shirt looks to have strange colour scheme, I do like the drip effect from the crown logo though, can't find a pic but its on their site. http://www.onerovers.co.uk/

Sunderlands kit same as every other but somehow looks retro :erm: I think its the badge and collar more than anything, the badge behind the badge looks good.

Barca's home is nice but the away one is horrible.

Wigans is just awful, what the hell is the make of the shirt?

http://www.laticsshop.com/images/uploads/Reveal4_Shop.jpg

As for the Bolton one, when I see pictures of it, it looks stupid but looks nice when the players are wearing it somehow?

Sunderland's badge looks great, going with the whole 'Tailored' look like England's new one. I hope our home shirt has a similar look.

naa not likin that adidas design, good of them to think of the fans by putting gaps in the stripes these days tho, i remember buying prem badges for an adidas spurs top and wondering how the fuck you iron them on over raised stripes.

They are based on templates, but as long as it's the red and blue stripes I'm fine with it. The away kit is not too bad either.

Nike does that sometimes, I think they did that with Fulham as well.

Don't really see why everyone seems to hate the new chelsea kit. Don't think it looks too bad to be honest, watching them against Blackburn and it seemed fine. Still rather something a bit different than those Milan and Real Madrid kits, every year the exact same except for the collar

I think it's awful... I liked the plain and simple blue with maybe some amall changes on the sleeves and the colar, but now it looks all messy and complicated. Why do we need those two circles around the Chesea and Adidas logos? Also, I never liked stripes that go on the center like that.

I like those a lot. Very swish. I wouldn't have made the Milan Home collar white though :S

And the Real Madrid home would be a lot better if it had a collar, like the Away one has. I love the home shirt they've worn this season, very nice.

I don't mind their home shirt. Their away and 3rd kits varely had any changes at all, yet, they seem to release new ones every year.

No idea. Site didn't even start popping up around the Villa boards till a couple days ago, and the kit debuts on Sunday! Don't see how anything could really be a major improvement on our current away, which is maybe my all-time favorite kit of ours, but if they go with that very rich blue and silver scheme on the site, I should be fairly happy. Wouldn't be surprised to see every one of our capped players listed on it or something similarly ridiculous, though.

The AC Milan home strip looks awesome. I like our new away kit as well, not that traditional but does look classy and that coupled with the home strip and the yellow one which will become out third and i think we've got a nice set there. I don't mind the Middlesboro one either, but the Chelsea kits are awful!

Undecided about the new Arsenal away kit, though I think it'll look better in the light of day. Reminds me a bit of the dark blue one we had in 2002/2003.
