i don't mean to sound dumb, but ive been wondering..ive seen update patches for the x360 version of pro evo 08 but none for the ps3..is their any reason for this? if there is 1 cud somebody tell me how i can get my hands on one?

im not an expert, but its problably because the the updates you download for your PS3 in general updates pes anyway.

i understand that, but an update can't change the boots for you whereas a patch could, thanks for the help tho

I think it might be down to the fact there's no PS3 chip enabling you to play backup copies yet. With the Xbox you need to get it flashed and the patch is then put in to the game which you then burn on to a disk.

It's not something you put on to the hard drive.
