First off, no, I didn't spell the title incorrectly ;) ...

I had Driver 2 and liked it. This one seems like a cracking game from what I've read on the net. It's due for release on February 27th, I'll be getting it. Coming out for PS2, X-Box and Gamecube.

According to gameplay its out on the same day as MGS3 and GT4, and 6 days before Half-Life2, might be needing a week off school.

i didnt know driver 2 had been out.

looks like ill be getting GT4 and Driv3r then :D

Driver 2 came out in Fall 2000. GT4 has been pushed back to July/August and MGS3 looks to arrive in November! Driver 3 seems to be holding a spring release possibly March/April.

got both drivers & both r quality. Driver2 was great coz u could actually get out the car for once :)

driver 1 and 2 were neat, i thought they wont do anymore of them.. well its good 2 have it back :)

It was funny how Driver 2 seemed to have worse graphics than the original, great games though mind. I did find the disc changeovers quite frustrating however.

No doubting the graphical pleasures of this one...

The screens look fantastic. When is it released?

I had Driver 1 and 2, both of which were superb, but i would say driver 1 was a bit more enjoyable, even though you couldnt get out of the car. Does anyone agree?

It's due for release on the 25th of this month.

And yeah, I would agree. Driver 2, very good as you say but I'd rate the original ahead of it.

Has anyone ordered this from play.com?

I got an email on friday saying it had been dispatched. So it looks like I may get it as early as monday.

Yes, i too have ordered from play.com, on Friday to be precise. I have also got an e-mail confirming that my order has been posted, so hopefully we will see the game on our doormats tomorrow or Tuesday. :)
