how do you score from left to right

its seems everytime i try and score from left to right when im inside the box i just blaze it over the bar. if i run straight on at goal from down the bottom of the screen and then turn my run upwards and shoot it goes over ! when i shoot im usually pressing north east. what am i doing wrong?

iy you're "blazing it over the bar", as you say, you need to lay off the shoot button. a simple tap or quick press down will do.

train yourself to spot the open part of the goal and hold down that direction on the pad before shooting.

A high-ish "Shot Technique" stat is usefull. It means that the player can still shoot accurately from a tighter angle. As FakeAccount says, better to just tap the [] button.

it doesn't matter which direction your shooting from. i.e. left to right

Try and slow down first and stop sprinting, cos shoooting is harder :)

Try to just tap [ ] without holding, or charging the power, for a low blast.

slow down (let go of run) tap [] and direction, note never press direction in the side your on, eg dont press right if your on the right side(side netting or post)
o, and also, lots of pratice

Try to aim at the far post, near post shots usually go to the keeper, or the side net.

When running parallel to the goal I find it useful to tap the R1 to give a quick burst of speed before shooting - it can create a bit of space
