Forum software upgrade

I will be upgrading the forum software to the latest version of vBulletin at some point in the next 12 hours. Expect some downtime.

One of the major new features are the new profile pages.

Well the forum software is just from www.vbulletin.com - you have to pay initially to get your license, and then $30 a year to be allowed to continue downloading the updates.

I don't really understand the tagging system, and certain things aren't working for me in firefox... anyone know why?

like the reputation buttons don't do anything, and neither does the "edit tags" button... is it my biscuits?

For some reason you have to right click->open in new tab and it works fine. That's for reputation and edit tags anyway.

I assume things are not working (i.e. reputation) because I haven't updated the template which has the bit with your avatar etc in it. I really don't have time to do it... so I can either leave it like it is now for a week and things won't work properly, or change it so it looks like the shitty default vbulletin one for a week. I have no idea which I'm going to do yet.

How comes whenever I go to use a gif as an avatar it never moves. Surely i'd get a message saying the file is too big or something?

I'm liking the "Customize Profile" option like. Currently gone for red and white, but it doesn't look too great.
