Hey There,

Some of you may remember the gameplayer FIFA 08 vs. PES 08 article from last year. Well they've done one for this year which you can read here (http://www.gameplayer.com.au/gp_documents/PES-vs-FIFA.aspx?catid=Previews).

Seen a few other threads about this, but figured that its discussion might take things off topic. Can't remember my old login detiails as I haven't been here sincel last year, but looking forward to another run-in to a new PES.

I just want it to feel like a next-gen game this time: for me the last two simply didn't, even if I still loved the gameplay.

the fact pes is fast is the reason why the game is ludicrously bad. This is the year i am most excited about pes as due to the fact that fifa is catching up the game has to be good this year. Nout sure what there going to do with pes09 gameplay so it is hard to comment althoguh i will but pes over fifa.

I think I will buy fifa this year. Everything will be decided after the PC demo. If its at par with the ps3/xbox 360 versions. I think I wil buy fifa. I dont think Konami deserves my money atleast this year.

how the hell can you guys say fifa 09 over pes what exactly proves that fifa is better..... the only things id say fifa is better than pes is the graphics and thats very slim because some aspects are very weak with fifa...... so please tell me why you think fifa is better then i will tell you why your wrong..

No one can say that fifa is better at the moment. No info has been said from both the developers.Graphically they're both good but based on last year I would say pes because of the much more life like players.

Completely agree.. PES08 and FIFA08 are equally bad and not even worth playing.

And, PES5 and PES6 in the PS2 are better than any other Football game that I know off.

Unfortunately, in my case.. I'm already getting bored of PES6. Then again, I guess this was always going to happen after 4 years of playing the same game.
