KONAMI's online nightmare

I just read a dutch article saying with the new update for MGS4 the online players have been complaining about their online gameplay due to alot of lag which makes the game unplayable.

It seems that online play is something Konami hasn't been mastering. So the chances are big that with Pro evo only 2 months away, we will have allot of lag again (?)

Well Konami got online spot on for PES6 so I don't think it's a matter of them being clueless with the online. They were just ridiculously lazy and uncaring with PES 2008. Have never played MGS4 though, but I've always felt from previous versions that it would be pointless making it online as it was always a single player game.

konami just generally cant do online lol, for MGS online sony offered them to use their playstation network but they were like ~

Unofficial quote "Na mate, im safe, using some elses perfectly online network which works fine is for noobs"

And we know what happened...

PES6 online was BEAUTIFUL, was the first time i started playing pro evo online and i was hooked. on the other hand i was disgusted by PES2008 online, just the whole organisation of it plus lag just seemed like it was something put together as a last minute add on. (which is most prob why it was full of flaws).

konami needs to understand that online gaming is ever growing and is a major part of games nowadays, so getting it wrong..is getting the whole game wrong. hopefully they'll have something similar to that of PES6 or use PSN.
