Well that is easy, you use press down on R2 and flick the right analog stick to the direction you need to pass to, am not good at it but that's what i learnt in training

if konami got on to the things they can do with the manual function its wud be game over for fifa. . . . i score amazing goals with a manual sounds crazy bt some of the tidiest goals can be scored, thats my style, that why no one plays like me

this is bony's mate. sort your brains out, the manual pass is the future of pro evo, you don't know how to play the game if you don't use them. especially for shooting, they change the game.

1. you're under pressure from a defender and shooting makes you sky it? manuals always go the way you point them no matter who is nearby
2. when facing away from goal a manual will also be on target, for first time passes to a guy outside the six yard, instant turn and goal
3. chipped manuals (L1 + analogue) are probably the sexiest goals on the entire game, people will just let their jaw drop as you've scored goals that can't be scored with the regular buttons time and time again!!!
