How do you get Invalid Matches ?

I was wondering how do you get Invalid Matches , i keep getting them on my record ... And i dont practically like it .

DO you get invalid matches when you play online? Or if the games disconnects when you are playing online?
Friendly matches with friends ?

I think it happens if you stop in the middle of an Exhibition game.

Ive played full exhibition matches and xbox live games and still got invalids ...

After the game do you turn off your xbox straight away? Or do you let the match settings save? Because if your just turning it off you haven't saved it meaning it will count as invalid.

I do wait until the system saves ...

Usually it happens when i play online ... But not all games , only some are count as invalid.

I played 8 games straight this morning and 2 were count as invalid ... And didnt have any disconnect , and i also play them all straight without a break or turning the console off.

Strange...

Do you guys get lots of disconnects?

I don't really play online because it is so crap, but when i do i don't really get many disconnects.
