I know when to believe Wikipedia stuff and here's something I dont believe...

They have announced an amount of teams, can anyone confirm the existence of these teams in the game?

P.S.:Also, they had Anderlecht,Flamengo and Brugge in there and now they're gone. I hope the unexistence of these teams is wrong. Still, I hope Werder is in the game...

i wouldn't trust anything on wikipedia tbh, it can be edited by anyone. They also had Dundee Utd in there a few weeks ago lol
Yeah when no official information has been released, you cannot trust Wikipedia.

I don't believe what they say on Wikipedia. In the new stadium list they say that the Grolsch Veste in Enschede will be also added to the game. This stadium is a smaller variation of the stadium of Newcastle United and is currently being worked on.
I don't believe that this stadium will be in the game. The other ones that are listed seem a lot more logical to me.

Also, it says the argentinean league is included, then in the 'Licensed teams in unlicensed leagues' section, it shows there to be boca juniors and river plate. If the league is licensed then why would these two teams be in this section... Sounds like someones telling lies.

I'm sick of having the same teams over and over, they have to get more teams , I dont care if they have fake names or not. That's one of the top priorities ,plus fixing the ball bugs and the referee.

i have no doubt what so ever that it is fake, but the annoying thing is that they could easily put the j and k leagues in, and they could have for a long time but they always release a j-league pes in japan instead, i guess they make more money by bringing out the two versions but j and k league could easily be inserted, and weather or not they think people would care about been the teams id say the more real teams the merrier even if i never play as em. although i certainly would give a fair few of the j/k league teams out

It also lists "Anfield Road"
So I presume, if you select that, you play on a full pitch, but with only one of the stands there? What's next, "Gallowgate End"?

Wikipedia has added 2 more licensed stadiums and teams, chelsea with stamford bridge and arsenal with the emirates stadium

I think KONAMI has to add more leagues,more teams and more players to the game,instead of removing. Look at Fifa 2009's leagues list. 35 leagues! They added almost every league in Europe,and even they added South African League! Think about it! Thousands of players! This issue is the biggest loss of PES series. Why do we need to get stuck between 4000 players in Master League? I think PES should be take this more important. The playableness of the game is brilliant,but this makes me (and people) more reluctant for playing the game for hours. Don't you think like that?

Yes. I mean, not add 30 leagues. But at least two to five in the nxt three games would be great.
Konami thinks that people buy the game because of the gameplay and that's it.
I buy it because of the gameplay, but I would certainly like more teams.

Don't believe that list at all. It keeps changing every day. I look at it now and River Plate is gone and other teams are gone. It's just some idiot taking guesses on what the teams will be.
Leipzig will reveal all I hope.

well.. as much as i like wikipedia i dont believe any of the information on the PES 2009 wikipage totally agree with all of u lot on this one, but i really want to know if they will have nike boots and boots that can be customized in the game anybody know if this is true ? but most importantly i really want them to make a big improvement to the gameplay

Yeah I guess because the only 2 licensed team are Liverpool and Man UTD so they will have their stadiums licensed.
you guys know if any of the young players signed this season will be in the game?
players like ramsey snatched by arsenal.
No one can know excactly until the game comes out.

If this is the case it shows that Konami are giving in to this football was never invented before sky sports culture. Fair enough add the UEFA cup holders into the game (even though nobody really cares and will only use them for Arshavin, if he is still there) at the expense of one of the swedish or norwegian teams.
But to remove Bayern Munich is a terrible decision. For starters they are one of the biggest clubs in europe winning more at the weekend the Zenit have in their history. See for yourselves:
