penalty shootouts

what do you think about the shootouts in pes.

i think they feel a bit rushed once you've chosen your kickers. maybe we could have a bit of a cut scene between each kick, like the captain supporting the next kicker or more of a reaction to the result of the last penalty.

it just seems that after a 15 or 20 min game, then extra time the penalties just seem too blunt.

Agreed.. Penalties feel like they where forced there, there should be more scenes in Penalties -and- the damn camera should be fixed.

i feel they need to get the player reaction sorted when u score any penalty or the winning penalty the player doesnt run to celebrate as soon as the ball hits the net.

Agreed.. Penalties feel like they where forced there, there should be more scenes in Penalties -and- the damn camera should be fixed.

Agreed that the camera angle should be fixed for the penalty shoot-outs. I'd also like some cut scenes, and show the different emotions if they score or miss.

if you lose the shot out the camera should go on the player who missed it showing himing being upset then move onto the winning team, but i like not having to wait ages to take the penalty, it would annoy me having to watch the same scenes every time i go to a penalty shoot out

First off, I want the powerbar back when taking penalties. They're too easy at the moment.

And yeah, I would support cut-scenes, but only if you could skip them. That's because after the first few times of seeing them, you probably won't want to again, but it's nice to have the option to watch, especially when playing with a mate.

In Pes 08 the penalites were almost bound to happen and the winner will be decided before the penalties. THEY WEREN'T EXCITING AT ALL. Yeah I also want a power bar for the penalties. It would make it much better.

I hate the penalty's in PES. Really I often end the game when i am playing against CPU. I hate it when you let a fit player take the penalty and the cpu decides to miss 3 out of 5 balls. A penalty' system that was on the 64 on some similar would be nice.

Have no idea how they come up with this. Most people will say that's realistic, well that's nonsense. i sometimes play exctiting matches again'st friends, which i controlled 10 minutes and then suddenly the cpu is taking over.

Also why when you are the goalkeeper and you jump the direction the ball is shot, it sometimes jumps like it got something up his arse.

The penalty shoot out should be 9 way's of shooting. none of the balls should go out and the goalkeeper should be able to jump 9 way's and catch all the balls or atleast punch them away. I don't want the CPU deciding for me.

Honestly i don't care about Pen's. I turn them off, and just have it as a draw after E.T. Pen's are random and the better player does not necessarily win.

i dont remember there ever been a power bar in a pes penalty shootout???

to make it less random they could do what the did on ISS for the PS2. the taker had a fastish moving little square and would aim it where he wanted, and the keeper had a larger square and would follow the takers square, then the taker would press shoot and would have to move the square away from the keepers square or he would save it, the good thing was it wasnt random, it moved fairly fast so although it could be easy to score if the keeper was good at it youd have to really find the corners quickly which could result in smashing it wide. at the moment i dont know what determines a wide shot they just randmoly do it!

They better sort that goalkeeper camera that was so unnessasaary.

They need to fix:
-Shots to the middle(GK never gets them)
-vs CPU camera(they should never have changed it)

They need to include:

-Powerbar in shooting
-Reach ruler in defending(more power,further the GK will get the ball, but balls he could get when in small amouunt of power can't be reached, because they will go under or over)

for me....the some weakness of pes/we, penalties kick ........
i give 5 star for fifa.... the situation alive with atmosphere of the kicker player, gk and enviroment.... in fifa ur gk can moving knee, hands.....for kicker player, u can either just shoot with inside foot or just outside foot for slow shot but target...

As in real life mate to be honest.

I don't like the way they're done though, Konami should look into incorporating the FIFA style penalties with the power bar and the option to smash, place or chip the penalties.
