A complete Stats overhaul for improved gameplay
100% Player Name fixed, players will have their first initial included (i.e. D. BECKHAM)
Duplicate Players eradicated and overwritten
EPL Kits and Team Names fixed using in-game editor
Squad Numbers Corrected
U21 teams replace their respective Classic National Team
75% of transfers up until Sept 01 completed.
On-going research on Captains, Set Piece Takers and Formations
Full EPL and La Liga apps completed.
International Teams updates; squads and kits
Celebrations allocated to players based on info from the forums
Stadia allocated to EPL teams for greater realism
Correct names for the domestic cups (e.g. The FA Cup, Copa del Rey)
New Teams created in League C;


Boca Juniors, Sao Paolo, Vfb Stuttgart, Bayer Leverkusen, Borrusia Dortmund, Hannover, Hamburg, Schalke, Werder Bremen, Hertha Berlin, Numancia, Chievo, Waalkwijk, Nantes, West Bromwich Albion, Wolves, Aberdeen, Shakhtar Donetsk, CSKA Moscow, Zenit St Petersburg.

What i was hoping was for other people to download and update certain leagues. I have England 95% done so if others do say Spain or Italy and upload we can have a top file. Least it lets us have one last master league before 2009!

I have mainly concentrated on England. If you use English clubs in master league then this is the file for you. As i said above, i want people to help. Then we could have the best file around.

Yeah all teams have their stragegies auto done to add realism and better game play. Just go to set tactics, controller support and change back to maual.

Great update for appearance, youth players and defenders but for most other players the stats are pretty far off of realism

This OF is the best yet on PS3 I think. Keep up the good work for PES09 (should, hopefully, be less work for you on that one!)

Nice to see the way you've managed your thread too; LFC's option file is by no means terrible but his attitude is - and as others have mentioned - the 'powerlfc' approach has led to some fairly ludicrous stats.

I can't select Pato (AC Milan) to play for Brazil National Football Team !!! Indeed he doesn't appear in the list of brazilian players.

Do the test, and i've got the same problem with JÔ (Manchester City).

And yes, i know it's A.Pato and not "Pato"... DO THE TEST !!!

By faaaaaaaaaar the best option file out there right now! All the stats seems pretty accurate, as well as teams, formations etc.

I'm so sick of LFC power's option files with that stupid mpower player with all his stats 99, and the liverpool players being unrealisticly good etc.

This optionfile is brilliant, totally unbiased and very accurate!

hopefulle you will have a good optionfile for pes09 soon after release!

Hi guys.... I'm new on this forum and I came here to try to solve a boring problem that I got to install LFC Option File on my PS3.

I've done many times all steps to install the option file. In fact, I can see in my PES Folder (Saved Data Utility on HDD) the new faces, jerseys, System Data and Edit Data, but also I see my old files in the same folder (Edit Data and System Data) and when I start the game the system takes the old option file and not the new one.

In other hands, I tried deleting my old Option File letting just the new one on the PES folder but it doesn't work and when the game goes run ask me to settle all the basic settings (i.e. difficulty level) like option file wouldn't exist it.

I completed a back-up to my old option file and I compared it with the new LFC option file and I founded that the names are differents between them. My old option file name is BLUS30111EEDIT01, instead the LFC option file name is BLES00110EEDIT01.

So, anyone knows why this is happening??? anyone knows how to fix this problem and the LFC option file works in my PS3???

This is actually the worst PES football game of the series.

The robotic movement on PES 2008 and up ruined it all, took the realistic sensation of football that it was used to have.

PES 2005 has the best gameplay of all.

Konami ruined a brilliant series just because they were trying to improve, what a disgrace! Fuck you Konami!
