I'm at work right now and can't play the demo.. Anyone played yet?? How is it??
I know PES is always better than FIFA in gameplay manner, and I think the deficit between the two will enhance this year...
SO let us write our FIFA 09 impressions here.. Any diffrence than 08??
I'll add my opinion tomorrow...
downloaded it a few minutes ago in xbox360...It looks like en enhanced version of Euro 2008. Graphics and gameplay-wise. Its playable and enjoyable, a certain improvement over FIFA08, faster (don't think PES2008 lol) and it looks varied. Thats all for now...

The Demo is below what I expected. I downloaded the pc version though might not be the same as the next gen version, but the graphics ingame is not good, the colors are dull ingame, player model looks a bit strange, cutscenes graphic are great btw.
After a few game it gets totally boring, even the first goal didnt feel great, goals do still feel repetitive. Other than that, the AI is good in making runs. Slow response times is still there, and sometimes passes feels like we are not the one making the decisions, I kept passing to the wrong player(made me remember old pro evo days.). And the most annoying thing is that the Keeper didnt do much to block the shots, didnt come up for 1 vs 1 as well as too easy to beat. I dunno if its a difficulty settings, higher difficulty setting might differ. Balls feel a little bit floaty to me, but the players position is good.
Overall the demo have some good and some bad things, but it is below my expectation. If the next gen version are not that much of a difference, it is certainly pro evo to me this year. I just deleted the demo, thats how boring it is to me. Even FIFA08 is still better than this.

The PC FIFA 09 Demo.. Is utter CRAP. Just download the PS3 version. But PES 2009 will be very good and probably sell alot more just because of the Champions League Mode.

the only thing i enjoyed in the demo was become a legend mode. I loved the whole being 1 man entire game ... all this demo has done for me is wet my appetite for Pes's " Become a Pro "

Well last years FIFA08 demo you couldnt change the visual settings. can you do that in this one ?
i downloaded it and honestly thought there was no difference from fifa 08. i will still buy it for the 10v10 online mode. when you got decent players who passed the ball last year it was magic( never thought i would say anything about fifa was magic )

hehe all that talk and now they are all quite lol. The demo was not bad but it CERTAINLY was not the way everyone was describing them.....once again fifa work on ur gameplay!
Well last years FIFA08 demo you couldnt change the visual settings. can you do that in this one ?
Yes you can change the zoom height etc.. on the camera.

It changes depending on where you play the player i.e. sneider on the wing 82 i think and centre mid 65

I think they are fairly accurate this time round... But going by the cover I guess someone like Rooney is going to be overrated. If it were up to me I'd give him no more than 85. He'll probably get 90 though.
Player ratings = 7/10

i just started to download the FIFA09 demo but it will take ages were i live so i will tell u what i think when i've played it .

I think I saw greekwow saying the graphics for the PC is crap.
just had a couple of games on the demo PS3, I am quite taken aback, the game seems quite playable, the response is good and some of the shots look excellent, must say it is going to be close this year. the only thing I can fault this on thus far is the dodgy blur when playing in pro mode camera and on some of the panning scences. apart from that it gets 5 * out of 5 from me, oh I must mention that you can totally customise the controller so that it is the same as for pes.

TBH this is what is going to keep me with PES this year, but the 10 v 10 is a draw but 10 v 10 with shite players will be an absolute nightmare!

I actually enjoy the demo. Will be interesting to get hold of the full game and be able to play with my beloved Huddersfield Town! ;)
Be interesting to see what PES can serve up, it'll have to be pretty darn good.

I enjoyed the demo great graphics good gameplay. Haven't brought a copy of fifa since road to the world cup 98. Hope pes is good enough that I don't have to by fifa this year. Never thought I would be concidering it. But pro have slipped and fifa have improved, will know how much when I play the pes demo. But maybe I'll have to wait for the full game as have heard it's not going to be the best (Lepzig Demo) not playtested one?

I love the gameplay, much better than 08. Only flaw imo is the curl on free-kicks.
PLayed it aswel and hated it!The only thing good bout it is the beat the keeper thing at the start!Roll on PES!
In my opinion the demo is full of 'meh'.
I'm trying hard to enjoy it but it just doesn't seem to be clicking. I've played 6 games in total. Although the most I've played at one time is 2. My problem could be I'm trying to play like I play on pro.

Demo is good but not great, this game lacks soul, lacks emotion, will buy FIFA 09 if PES2009 online is shit again.

The game feels so sluggish. Football is never played at a snail's pace, yet FIFA thinks this is the way you are meant to play football.
Has anyone seen the PES 2009 Champions League trailer? Now that looks awesome.
I just downloaded the pc version played the game. In the same match is scored 4 goals with Pirlo out of a free kick. I ended up winning 7 - 0. Let the hype be over. I already uninstalled the game from my HDD. It was the same crap that was presented at Leipzig.
It still amazes me that FIFA fanboy's have the guts to say it better then last year. SEABASS said: the number is not important - that simply depends how you add up all the changes. . Rutter said there were 250 improvements, he should have quoted Seabass cause Rutter probably changed the things he should have changed.
The jostling system is a joke. My defender got knocked down by some german player. I hope they fix that.

Played the demo three times and I think it is very slow, but I will get it because some things like the be a pro mode is very fun.

A lot of the player likenesses are questionable. Thats always been a problem with FIFA.
