Yes I know this is a bold statement but I am. I have played every version and I often meet people who talk about how grest they are and end up putting 6 past them as Egypt.

How do I prove this, really how do I? Well lets just hope there is online play in PES3 so I can kick everyones ass.

Are you talking about PES2?

You can't patch it as in WE but you can download option files that have the correct player names and up to date transfers!

Yep, you'll need a X-Port (http://www.playserver4.com/play247.asp?page=title&r=PS2&title=110622) and then its just a matter of downloading an X-port save.

Here are me fav's!

ShowUsMiracle has a few (www.showusmiracle.com) My fave is Tim Edwins version of 1.3

PESFan (www.pesfan.com) has their own option file with custom teams needed for GOTM comps and theres a Serie A file there somewhere.

Or you could ask Zygalski for his personal file which has the likes Rooney included and the International squads sorted too :)

It's not like I made major changes to national squads.
I try to keep England up to date as much as possible as I play with them the most.

About four other players into various teams.
Don't want to get too deep into changing it as the new games will be out soon.

They have the fake commentary names for Holland so they may as well let us edit them to use them without using base copies.

reb, I'm not particularly good at PES2. I've only started playing it on Extreme Mode, but I should be able to adapt. If you play on harder levels, you're bound to get better. Also, playing against others is a good way to test your skills. Even if I get beaten, I'll still enjoy watching the rest of the games, make a day-ish of it! (now that sounds sad)

Remodulate the shield harmonics and cycle them thru the upper eM band!

To be honest, I want to slowly move up to Extreme so as to get the most out of PES2. Is extreme always available from the off in ML?

Yep, it simply creates a save game straight away, and auto-saves it all the time. Stops you cheating.

They have some different names and some new formats to make things interesting.

15th June - The Intercontinental Challenge
6th July - The Eliminator
20th July - PESTAL Internationals
3rd August - The Players Challenge
17th August - The PESTAL League
31st August - The PESTAL League
7th September - The PESTAL League
21st September - The Tag Team Challenge

The PESTAL League is the one where you play as your Master League team built up on Extreme mode.

Er, not just yet.
The organiser wanted to add some variety so he came up with these ideas.

I think the Intercontinental one is where you have to choose 2 teams from each continent and choose a team only once, depending on the opposition or something.

I think the Tag Team is a two-player team cup.
One of a pair plays one of the opposition for the first leg.
The other plays the other and the aggregate score is taken.

PESTAL league is a league of master league teams with a few cup matches thrown in.
When I find out more, I will fill you in.

Once you join and register, for £2, all entry fees are £8.
Otherwise it is £10.

theres only one type of game i can't win and thats when your players condition is poor (blue, downward arrow) and the oppositions condition is excellent (red, upward arrow), on 5 stars, with a crap team, against France. it is impossibble i tell you!!
