OK, here goes.

I’m going to try and compile a Championship option file for PES09 on PS3. I’ll use whatever information I can find off the PESGAMING and PESFAN forums (with the owner’s permission) and attach it on to an already updated England League option file. I already have permission off Arsenald to use his option file and tag the championship teams on to it. I can do all the missing stats myself, but could do with some help for the kit formulas, formations and appearances. If you have any info you would like to contribute to the file then please either post it in here, or on the dedicated championship editing forum over on PESFAN.

There is also another problem here you can not use that league in Master L. THe only way you can do it is by overwriting teams in league A anyway. Not sure if the new patch will fix this

I was aware of this, yes. Maybe the update from Konami will fix this, but I doubt it. This is really annoying I think. The fact that you can choose teams from other league B when starting a league, but not in master league. Oh well, at least you will be able to use them in leagues and cups, and you can always transfer the team data to the other league A spot if you really want to use it.

Let me know what i can do. TBH I've half completed Blackpool so I'll give you all my info on them once complete. but anything else gimme a shout. I can probs create kits. As mentioned above their is a file where all the kits sponsors make and badge are there to import so the basic kit has to be made then import the picture on top of it.

its really simple to do.

Put pics on a meme stick and save onto the xbm under pics on the ps3.
When in game just go to create from scratch on kit and import the picture and place it correctly on the kit. it really is that simple.

Your bein too polite. If the kits are there use them and thank the creator of them. Sounds good tho. Couple of players are already in the game for championship sides. I know for blackpool Gow at rangers and vaughan for wales. This is gnna be a class option file like when it's done.

Ive done around 15 players, will finish later (after ive done some work). Some of my models are spot on, some are abit half baked. The player stats are guess work from my team knowledge. Also I edited chants in nuendo and split into 4 packs. I will brush up the bad faces when I finish the rest of the squad.

neilung: Sadly there is no way to combine files. So either one person has to do it all or a file gets passed around from one fan to another to complete a certain team. Save, pass on, etc. If Cloister downloads your option file it will simply overwrite his work.

ARSENALD: I'm sure Cloister is still doing a complete Championship option file, I just think he's working flat out on it so hasn't posted in 24 hours or so. I think he edited contents of first post and in doing so accidentally removed the credit to you for Prem'ship OF. I'm sure he will sort it next time he is on here. neilung is simply doing a OF with just Ipswich (which I can't wait to see BTW!!!).

Why don't you shift Ligue1 or Eredivisie to Others B and then put Championship in either League B or League D (slots for Ligue 1 and Eredivisie)?

You could always shift PES and WE United to Others B from Others A. You could then put Marseilles/Lyon in Others A and rest of Ligue 1 in Others B.

Through doing this, Championship would be fully useable in Master League, and would include Marseilles/Lyon too if you wished.

I managed to get most of the ITFC squad stats (need 5 more) from Championship Manager 2008 Demo and found an converter. (FM to PES Stats Converter 1.2)

I can now see that the work load is greater than I thought, but I do feel I can complete the full squad (images/stats etc.) by the end of week.

the editor I was referring to was Compulsions' pesfan editor (it worked for PS2, PC, and Xbox). you were able to place a kit of a non-licensed team over the kit of a licensed team on a option file on your harddrive. transfer that option file back to the console and then that would "unlock" the kit to be able to be edited

its might not be possible for next gen systems. but hopefully this guy compulsion is still on it

BTW people there is no way you can give Cloister a hand by editing your own option file. He would have to give you his file, you load it up, edit it, then send it back to him. Or you post the details here (for example kit formulas or player stats) and he adds it in himself. I don't know what his plans are.

Hello Cloister

When I was making the player models it was saving picture files for each player, can I send these files to you?

I will upload the the stats once I have changed them to PES stats, they are currently in Championship manager stat form.

Nuendo is pro sound editing software much like pro tools. Sound forge will also do the job. You should able to find the software online.

Once I have finished the ITFC squad I can edit some more team chants for your pack.

Got Most Of The Missing Chants From Fanchants.com, Just Need To Stitch Them Together And Check Them Out In Game. Stats Are In Progress. I'm Dreading Doing The Appearances :(. Will Leave This Till Last I Think. Also Found A Good Site That Gives Me Loads Of Details On Current Formations And Such. Haven’t Been On Forums Much In The Last 24 Hours So Sorry To Anyone For Late Replies.

Jay mate. Once again an excellent point. I don't understand how top 20 teams then top 16 + bottom 4 will work though. Is it current league standings or last season cos surely i would reckon it'd be based on form currently as certain teams weren't in the league last season so if it were last season standings surely 3promoted teams + whoever finished 21st would be classed as bottom four.

I reckon like jay said, just make sure each team has a rival so if ya put 2 files out then just make sure that ipswich/norwich, blackpool/preston/burnley, cardiff/swansea etc. are in the same file.

hi, i'm new to the forum, been playing PES all through PS2 days and now on PS3.

would like to have premiership & championship in master league - would happily sacrifice some of the smaller teams from france/spain/italy etc to acheive this. i imagine a lot of players (particularly fans of championship teams would agree)...

I assume there is no easy way of moving data around (i.e. whole teams at a time) to customise option files? is there a PC or MAC utility to simplify this process?

I'm still not 100% sure how I'm going to distribute the championship teams in this OF. At the moment I'm starting to create all the players and teams in the other leagues B section, but I agree with what you say holbrook99. When I play master league I like to try and simulate the Div1 and Div 2 with England League and the championship. Unfortunately, as you can't select other league B sides (:() then you have to but clubs in from other countries, which looks naff, especially when after the first season some of these teams will be promoted and then they end up in the middle of Div 1.

The option to create the championship teams in the Italian, Spanish leagues as a replacement for the ones you can edit fully is one I have considered, but then when you have to select the teams to be in the other leagues in master league (not the one you are playing in) they wont be all from the same country. What I mean is you could have League 1: Div 1 full of prem teams, League 1: Div 2 with 10 of the championship sides, and the other 3 leagues a mixture of teams from different countries. What do people think on this? (or have I just confused you totally :))

In my honest opinion this is what i reckon you should do.

Add Championship to League B even though i myself want to play with my beloved Blackpool in ML. Seeing as your putting on all this work I would be more than happy to move the team of my choice to either WE United or PES United so then they are readily available for me to play with in all modes. This means it is then the users choice to put in that little bit of work to transfer the players over and recreate the 2 kits for there team which when it is already done for them all they have to do is write down the kit formulas and add the emblem.

Just my opinion and saves a lot of ball ache for your good self.

I just don't see the point in poor Cloister doing all this work if we can't use the Championship teams in a master league. When the Konami update hits, I'll probably spend a year doing a master league as Crystal Palace. If the other Championship teams aren't in my master league, there's no point them being on my option file.

I think you should overwrite the weaker unlicensed teams in La Liga and Serie A with Championship teams along with WE and PES United. Only 4 teams in each league will need to be overwritten then. You can easily put the 8 overwritten teams in Others B then along with a selection of other random teams.

However, this may delay your OF as the new PES update in early Novermber will update some licenses (not 100% who's). Therefore, you may overwrite a team who get licensed in the next update so will lose your work then.

Rumours are that the update will also unlock Other B to ML which would make things a billin per cent easier!

Gona wait to see what this new update does for the PS3. As stated on the front page of PASFAN it's been temporarily removed because of problems with kits and zombie style eyes on some players. I'm still working to put all the players data in to the game ready so should I have to move teams from one league to the other it won't take as much time. Also, all the data I'm using is going on to a spreadsheet which I plan to make available once completed.

It's not that easy mate. Any kit or player images you want to transfer you can do with a USB pen drive. The rest of the data is being typed up manually using the control pad and a USB keyboard.
