This system has no been replaced with the new "Shop System"
As you may have noticed the forums have been upgraded to the latest software. With these upgrades also comes some new features. The primary new feature is the introduction of a "Level System". This gives all members something to aim for with there post counts, and each time a goal is reached some new features will become available to you. The "Level System" is explained below:
<b>Level 0 - User Title = PESInsight Newbie</b>
10 Private Messages in Inbox, No Attachment Upload, No Signature, Can Not Post Polls, No Invisible Mode, No Custom Avatar, No Custom Title
<b>Level 1 - User Title = PESInsight Member</b>
15 Private Messages in Inbox, Attachment Upload, No Signature, Can Not Post Polls, No Invisible Mode, No Custom Avatar, No Custom Title
<b>Level 2 - User Title = PESInsight Regular</b>
25 Private Messages in Inbox, Attachment Upload, Signature, Can Not Post Polls, No Invisible Mode, No Custom Avatar, No Custom Title
<b>Level 3 - User Title = PESInsight Enthusiast</b>
50 Private Messages in Inbox, Attachment Upload, Signature, Can Post Polls, Invisible Mode, No Custom Avatar, No Custom Title
<b>Level 4 - User Title = PESInsight Ledgend</b>
100 Private Messages in Inbox, Attachment Upload, Signature, Can Post Polls, Custom Avatar, No Custom Title
<b>Level 5 - User Title = PESInsight God</b>
250 Private Messages in Inbox, Attachment Upload, Signature, Can Post Polls, Custom Avatar, Custom Title
All users will begin in "Level 0" and you will work your way up the levels according to this system:
Level 1 = 25 Posts
Level 2 = 50 Posts
Level 3 = 100 Posts
Level 4 = 250 Posts
Level 5 = 1000 Posts
Also changed as the style of the forums. Although keeping the same colour scheme, some minor alterations have been made. Noteably a change in the layout of the top of the page which now allows for much quicker navigation.
You may also note that there is a new style for the forums. This lighter style can be selected using the drop down menu in the bottom left corner of the forums.
If you have any comments on this "Level System" or the new style please leave them in this thread.
Real nice hitman, its looking smooth and proffessional. Only one thing I have to ask, if you click on profile you see this:
Group Memberships
GFK is not a member of any public groups
What does this mean? So you can see in which Section the user is most?
One thing the smilies are a bit screwed up, there is no colour in them.
Except from that, great!

the group thing is nothing to worry about. if, for example, i made a group only for forum dream team players, and you were a member of the forum dream team, this would appear where it currently says "Not a member of any groups".
The smilies appear ok for me, could you post a screen shot of a the problem?

The colour of the smilies is like that to merge in with the colour of the forums.

Brillaint mate...absolute brillance..It looks more like a forum now cos most forums have a similer style to this one, not the old one :)

How do you do the custom title thingy? Also only thing I don't like is that you used to have a link to the master topic at the bottom of the thread you were in... just above "previous" and "next thread". That made life a lot easier!

and what do you mean where is it? where is what? i didnt actually make that dream team group, i was just giving an example. the custom title option should be in your control panel.
P, you are 25 short of 1000, does that mean you cant have a custom user title yet? :p

i cant actually seem to be able to take user titles away from people who already have them, the same with custom avatars. so if your lucky enough to already have a custom avatar without actually reaching the required goal.... well done!

Where is the top 10 posters bit? and yes i do know that u can just click on the 'sort' bit in the members section to view it, and i saw on this other forum that u could view the top ten posters of that day...this ain't inlcuded is it?

ok, forum width changed to a percentage. width will now be determined by your resolution.

and mutu in the rules it says ur sig has to be a certain size....
and what have u just noticed? the forums are now the same width they used to be now so there should be no problems

my site i dont allow avatars over 50px wide and i do all the avatar updates myself, i dont even let the users do them. i just have a request thread.
keep my site from looking like a zoo like some other sites.. granted this site's avatars arnt too over the top like others.
i need to fix mine here to fit the standard some :D
Seems some people cant figure out how to change their user title (its the only thing everyone wants to do really) so,
You have to have more then 1000 posts then go to "Quick Links" on toolbar, then on the drop-down menu click "Edit Options" - its in there
peslite is hitmans favourite skin too and the one im using now aswell
its the same as what they have on evo-med so they just brought it over

The new style forums seem to load a lot faster, is that a coincidink or a part or the upgrade? The new look is like something from the not too distant future.

Its the improved codebase in this version over the other. We were running a much older beta code.
Putting these 'targets' will just encourage people to post drivel to up their post count.

it's a motivation for posts, not one-liners. spamming has been officially made against the rules and anyone doing it will be banned.
perhaps more forums where posts count as zero, like it is in advertising now
perhaps forum announcements and introducing yourself forums
just a suggestion :confused:
wouldnt bother most people - i post in testing/advertising all the time, you can tell people that want posts are never ever there :p

ok, after some discussion with larsson and other authority i have decided to reduce the number of posts required for the levels. the updated figures can be found in the first post of this thread.
those of you qualifying for custom avatars may also make them up to 120 x 120 pixels, but no bigger than 30kb in size.
now thats a radical sugestion, (thinks of something cool so not to get banned)

Really nice hitman, itīs a good decision to set the levels a little bit down.
level 5 should still be 1000 :( 500 is nothing
we have like 15 1000 posters in forum i think thats a good number for a rank
why did people say to change it can i ask?

So the only differences between 250 and 1000 are max. amount of messages in the inbox and the custom user title ? That would be ok I think :)

grrr larsson when hitman changed level 5 from 500 back to 1000 he forgot to change the rest of them which he'd halved im sure thats what it was originally

Go to 'User Control Panel' then click 'edit profile' down the left hand side. The option to change it is there.
Don't mean any disrespect but don't u think "enthsiast" is a really un-cool title? (just sounds a bit gay, I'm sorry.)
Donīt have any probs with that, but maybe we should make it like on evo-web, from junior league over premiership to world cup player or sth like that. Just a suggestion, itīs not really important when you ask me. :cool:

I always thought red would be better before the flashy bars cos in the flashy bars there is a red square which represents the fact u have them all so red should come before..but hey ...your the boss;)

I created my first site then on geocities.com and i when i saw your soccerextreme.host.sk i could believe it. I could make that kind of design then, and also i couldn`t register to Host.sk wich was then the best free web hosting provider.

I'm with Flippety on this one.
The new smilies are poor - especially the green grin one.
I also think post-counts should be made irrelevant - there was enough post-boosting before the invention of "levels" and since they've been introduced the number of Trezeguet's has steadily increased.
Gollan, with regards to the "PES Enthusiast" thing - it could be worse. He could've changed it to "Penis on Forehead" for anyone with less than 1,164 posts (his post-count at present) just for a laugh. I bet I'll have a new custom title within the hour. :nifty: = :|
