iPod is well and truly fucked. Help.

Well I got back from the town centre not long ago, and bought Wiley's "Treddin' On Thin Ice" and put it onto my iTunes no problem. Was looking forward to putting it onto my iPod as well, add to the collection. As I put my iPod in, it says my iPod is corrupted and I should try reconnecting it. I then take the iPod out, and at this point I've realised my iPod has crashed well and truly, no button-pressing can turn it off, it's stuck on the main menu. So I try putting it back in with the USB Cable and now my laptop is just incapable of even recognising this USB device.

Fuck my life.

Help me.
