yay our first tv post since the forums been renamed

i love family guy i just cant believe they cancelled it what the hell were they thinking

ok so it was a little crude but IMO better then even...dare i say it.... the simpsons :p

Manager: Peter are you sleeping on the job?
Peter: Uhm no theres a bug in my eye and im trying to suffocate it

very underrated.....My arse its shit its just rubbish they try to get Peter to be like Homer but it will never happen The Simpsons rule aand Family Guy is rubbish (just my opinion, don't want an argument about it :rolleyes: )

I think family guy is alright. What about DILBERT however? Thats much better and funnier!!!

Yeah Dilbert rocks too. 1:10 a.m. on FTN I believe but not anymore. It's scandalous!

Peter is nothing like Homer, Peter is much more funny. Simpsons is watchable but can you really say you laugh out loud that much to it? I can't. Then there's Family Guy with it's sheer quality. I will admit the format is very similar, fat husband, wife, two kids, a baby and a dog. But Family Guy provides much more comedy, to me anyway.

I love it.

I love Family Guy, although I don't think it's up to the standard of The Simpsons or Futurama. Gav beat me to the point I wanted to make about the similarities between The Simpsons and Family Guy...you bastard ;)

Can't believe no-ones mentioned King of The Hill, that's just as good as Family Guy. They're very different though, KOTH is very subtle.

Family guy gives you almost constant hilarity. I believe it's funnier than The Simpsons, but of course I prefer The Office. :D

British comedy at it's best. ;)

Family Guy could make a return due to the tremendous DVD sales, 3rd ranked in history or something crazy like that.

But I really do hope Futurama returns, bot over here and in the US it never got the airtime it deserved, I've got season 4 on DVD so if you lot wanna help the cause, go get it aswell.

The ending of the last episode was really sad, as was the one about his dog.

The Simpsons peaked around '95 and has plummeted ever since.

So many unnecessary guest voices and ludicrous plots involving peripheral characters.

It's useless now.

king of the hill and dilbert are also funny, dilbert perhaps less so, but we'll see what people like the best wont we :p

Badgerman, I think they've already responded to that by doing a feature length DVD movie. Can't wait for that personally.

100% agree with the people saying the humour is very consistant throughout an ep. Simpsons rarely makes me smile these days. The only good bits are one liners from characters like Ralph "I think I wet my bed..." and sometimes Homer.
