keeper keeps missing the backpass

This has happened many times already (about every 10 games, so now I dont dare backpass anymore)

The defender (usually under pressure) sends a controlled pass to the goalie. Controlled, slow pass along the ground.
I press O to have the goalie shoot the ball up up and away.
The stupid man slips and misses the ball (looks like he is trying to tackle)

Since my defender freezes after the pass, and the goalie is on the ground like a fish out of water, the attacker can easily score...

That has happened once, thankfully the keeper got up and claimed the ball in time.
I'd suggest using something instead of O to clear it - square or a high manual pass.

Happened to me in the demo which made me concede a goal. Was hoping it would be gone in the final game but no biggy as I can always press square to clear it.

Just don't press circle to clear it. This will make the goalie think to slide tackle. Use square which doesn't have any effect and will clear it.

happens to me all the time, glitch in the game. if i have to pass back now, i make the keeper stop the ball first the boot it out.

happened in my first online ranked match and i conceded. I nearly broke my pad.

It happens because you don't time the shoot right. If you press square however, it won't happen.

Doesn't happen anymore, because I time it right, but still, if I have to do a backpass, its often nervewrecking, especially because you can't always see the keeper before he actually kicks the ball.

But thanks for the square tips! When having time I dont like using square with the defenders because often they just shoot it out of bounds. But in a tight spot, square is king!

only happens when you hold 0 in too long, press it for 2 seconds and should be ok
